Medicom's RAH line... Why not Hasbro?

(1/1)

Scott:
This thread over in the Other Collectibles Section has the details on the upcoming 12" RAH Luke from Medicom.  Is there a reason why Hasbro won't go down this same path.

I have some pics up on the main page too...it looks stunning and if they were to make a Darth Vader I'd be all over that like white on rice

The one drawback here is price...its gonna be a spendy line to go after

i'm pretty sure you answered your own question about this:

people are bitching about the $30 price tag on the 12" votc figures, and you want hasbro to make 12" figures that cost $125? i agree, any figure that i could make do this:

would be worth it to me, and i will most likely try to get my hands on this line. but the thing that sucks is that they are 10" figures, not 12" so they won't even be in scale with the existing hasbro line  :(

Darth Broem:
Not me.  I don't care how nice it is I'm not paying $125 for it.  Hasbro should be able to make something nicer for the $20-25 price tag they want to slap on their current figures.  Hasbro only has themselves to blame for the poor sales of the 12 inch line.  It's like they want it to die so they don't have to deal with it any longer.

Anyway, that figure above is nice.  Except for the head sculpt.

Mister Skeezler:
Yeah, that figure is pretty damn nice...The best part is how it doesn't look as "dollish" as Hasbro's 12" figures. If there were more like this, and they weren't so expensive, I could probably go for this line.
