Might have to say the same for the iPod discussion soon as well, or shall we carry that one on into 2006?   ::)

Inexplicably, I'm actually within probably a matter of a few hours before I pull the trigger on a 4G, 40Gb iPod at Amazon.com.

Let me sleep on it
Baby baby let me sleep on it
Let me sleep on it,
I'll give you an answer in the morning

I think it has the potential to eventually rival the storied and well traveled W & P thread.

We were up to 11,000+ posts when they put the smack down and upgraded the software ruining our thread.

Ironic that a software upgrade can't handle a thread over 500 posts, but the old software could...  ::)  If you count the continuation thread over at GH, we've added another 2,000 to that total.

And no one's budged a single inch in 15 months.   8)

Tick tock, tick tock, flip flop, flip flop...  *yawn*

As for harrassing Scott's member, I'm not even going to comment on that.  I do not, nor will I ever, want to have anything to do with your member.  Thanks though.

First of all, I'd just like to take a moment to apologize to each and every one of you for not being quicker with my initial review/impressions of my new Sanuks.  I received a lot of private messages and e-mails about it (so much so that I haven't even been able to get through them all yet), and I know that many of you have been waiting with bated breath for this moment.

That said, however, I do want to delay my official review for a while.  For as long as it takes.  You see, these things need to be broken in, and seeing as though I've only had them for a couple of days, they're just not at that point yet.  I don't know how long it's going to take.  A day?  A week?  A month?  A year?  It doesn't matter.  All that matters is being fair.  Being fair to me, being fair to you, kind reader, and most importantly, being fair to the thongs.  I just don't feel like putting up my official review of these things before they're properly broken in would be the rational thing to do.  After all, would you put up a review of a new album after only hearing, say, two songs, for example?  Or a movie, based on the first fifteen minutes?  I didn't think so.  So, in the best interests of the Sanuks, the official review is delayed.

I will say, though, this quick first impression:

I'd like to see a little more flip, and a little less flop.

Stay tuned!

To tide us over until the review gets here...

I've got something that should appease the flip-flop, vintage, AND, Star Wars fan in all of us:

Anyone got a complete set of R2, 3PO, and Vader ESB Flip-Flops?

Ours are taller, good to -70 C and all white.  Better for hunting polar bears.  Eh.

Like this?

I hear a lot of Winnipeg guys wear these on their Polar Bear hunts...

Couldn't find a picture of the white version :'(  Hope it isn't retired.

Question: why has Cory retired?

Point: at least Virex didn't not buy a Camry and not tell us.   :-*

Question: why has Cory retired?

The "official" reason, from a post at Rebelscum (which I assume goes for JD, too):

Quote
"Too much misunderstanding, naivity, hypocracy, self loathing, immaturity, and lack of morals on this board for me to post, and actually associate myself with the majority of the users here."

The -real- reason.
