Seriously regretting not getting vaccinated for the flu cuz man does this suck.

My doc's told me older people are far more susceptible to this illness and should really make every effort possible to protect themselves physically as they reach those more "mature" years, and that absolutely includes getting flu shots.  So I dragged my parents in for their shots last month just to play it safe.  I hate needles, and am young and healthy though, so I didn't sweat it.  How old are you?

That's the kind of vague answer I'd get from my parents, so I'm guessing you're getting up there in years, in which case you've got no one to blame but yourself for not getting your shot.  Or perhaps your wife, who should know better than to trust you to know better...
