Well around my area just alot of downed trees, power lines, some trees fell into peoples patios. Nothing too serious to my apartment complex, just one broken window and a tree that fell against someones apartment, we were pretty lucky not to get more damage. As for me i had a tree on my other car while i was gone, completely taking out my rear windshield, so that kinda sucks.

:( Looks like we are going to get slammed again in florida, normally i would be too worried with it hitting the east coast but this thing is damn near the size of the whole state. So if i dont check back with yall before Saturday, I'll be sure to do it Monday.

P.S. To any other members on the east coast, I should say the whole damn state, my thoughts and prayers to yall.

I've got family in Clearwater - they had a very near miss 2 weeks ago with Charlie and now look to be on the exit path of Frances...

Scary stuff for everyone involved.

Best of luck to all the Floridians out there.  Probably the Carolina folks as well...  Hopefully this thing just blows through quick and painlessly, avoiding anything important.  Hang in there.

From what I've seen it looks like everyone in Florida could be in it's path!

Or more specificaly...

I for one am hoping that the High Pressure system off our coast dosen't move, because if it does everyone is fair game.

If it's a Major Hurricane, there can be no doubt that the losses will be great. What I am more concerned about though, is the fact that it's going to be moving so slow over such a large area. I have no doubt in my mind that this thing is going to cause flooding, and quite possibly severe flooding.

To all in the Southeast...from Norfolk, to Charleston, to Gainsville, to Miami stay safe and keep an eye on the weather.

Certainly puts a less than warm summer complaint in perspective.

Be safe.

So, did everyone in Florida make it through that thing OK?  Sharon?  Derek?  Rob's friends/family?

Hope everyone's cool, and still has a home to live in...

Got brushed by Frances, now we have Ivan coming this way. I am starting to hate living in Florida, this is something we dont need, and from what I have seen it is staying a strong cat 5 storm.
