Woah... how cool is this?

Quote
Pearl Jam, The Ten Club and CBS's The Late Show with David Letterman
are
excited to offer up this unique opportunity to watch the band perform a
short set immediately following their performance on Dave's show on May
4th
in the historic Ed Sullivan Theatre.  You must be a current Ten Club
member
as of April 19th and live in either New York, Connecticut or New Jersey
to
be eligible.

Here's how it will work-

This is a first come first serve opportunity.  Log on to
www.pearljam.com
Friday, April 21st before 1 PM Eastern time.  Go to the GOODS section
and
LOG IN to your Ten Club account.  Then at 1 PM Eastern, click the
Tickets
category and you'll have the opportunity to obtain 2 tickets to the
show.
Only the eligible Ten Club member will be allowed to pick up the
tickets.
A government-issued ID will be required for entry into the show.

Now here's the best part.  It's free....with a couple of catches.
First,
we're going to ask you for your credit card information.  Your card
will not
be charged, but we need it to verify your transaction.  Second, you
ABSOLUTELY must be able to participate in this event if you are
able to get tickets.  Failure to show up for this event may have an
impact
on whether you are considered for future promotions from the Ten Club.

There are only 350 seats in the Ed Sullivan Theatre, so we only have
175
pairs to give away. These are general admission tickets.  If you are
lucky
enough to get a pair of these tickets, you will receive an email on May
2nd, explaining how to pick up your tickets.  Keep in mind this show
will
take place at 6:00 PM Eastern time in New York City.  Participants will
need to be there by 4:30 PM on May 4th. If you can't make it at that
time,
don't bother trying to get tickets!!!!

Best of luck-
Ten Club Staff

Woah part 2:

Quote
Monday at midnight, Tower in the Village will be giving away half the
tickets to a "secret" Pearl Jam show scheduled to take place on Friday
the 5th. The first 450 fans to buy the CD on Monday night will be
entitled to one ticket to the show, first come, first served.

Wow

This is an amazing CD, the first time through I've listened and I cannot say how impressed I am with it

The full band version of Gone has to be my favorite track so far, but I also really really really like Life Wasted and Parachutes.

There is no real throw away track on here, there is a lot of angst and bad feelings that are just oozing out of the whole thing and the rage, the sadness and the whole thing is just wonderful.

And this is on the first listen.  It took a long time for me to even force myself to like more than a few tracks on Binaural or Riot Act, there was a lot of crap on both of those.  Not so much here...maybe because its a lot more melodic and anthemic...a return to the roots they seemed to leave after Yield

On an OCB scale of 1 to 10 with 1 being the lowest and 10 the highest, I'll give Pearl Jam's Pearl Jam an 11

Does anyone have a complete list of all the Live Bootlegs that have been released to date?  I am only talking about the ones that the band has released for purchase.  I cant seem to find a complete list and I am trying to finish off my collection.

Ditto, yet the Web Site has a whole cluster of shows available for purchase/download.

Basically every show from 2000 on has an official bootleg that has been released.  Last and this year were only available via the Fan Club and only on-line via download (as in no discs)

Here's the list...

I was part of the Ten Club back in 92-93or so. I got both of the first 2 Christmas .45's. I gotta think my membership has expired since then.

I still gotta pick up the new album. ( and the 2 before that :-[)

New cover on PJ's MySpace page.

Love Reign O'er Me.
It's from 2006's Christmas single, which none of us have yet.  :)

Can anyone help me find a download of the previously mentioned song? It's a real bitch to find.
