You'd need some smaller neck ball-joints though. The ones on the Stormies are huge!

And another thing, did Hasbro make a typo when they said it had 13 POA? Because I counted 14, same amount as the SA Clone...

Good call on the articulation count.

They said 13 points but the Stormie sports the same exact points as the Clonetrooper did...  Why they went with 13 in the preview I'll never know.  I do recall being quite worried about said count though, thinking Hasbro dicked us over on a wrist or something.

Thankfully they didn't.

Ya know what though?  The holster sucks.  Don't like how they did it one bit, but it'll do...  Blaster looks like poodoo in it though...  This would really hurt any other figure in my eyes...  Hell, the Stormtrooper's got a few flaws I'm noticing, and flaws that would really detract from ANY other figure, but this thing's so poseable I'm biased.

I saw someone at Scum complaining about a lack of hip ball/sockets...  He's getting a bit of a "you're nuts", which I see their point, but I also see his point as the Stormie's legs are closer together than other figures.  Lando's the same way actually...

Still, this figure's so kick ass, and I can get him into several running poses...  I'm happy as a clam, and he doesn't look out of place with the CT Stormie.  He'll "blend" witht hem I think.  I've been posing mine amidst a line-up of CT's and he gets lost in them.  Cool stuff.  :)

I panicked and ordered this set from EE.

At least that way I'll get the two Stormies I need for my collection. I'll still have to find an extra Chewie and R2, but I'll gamble they'll be the only two I find from this wave at retail.

I got my tracking number from them on Friday, but the package is being sent to my job, so I'll have to wait until the morning to get them. Can't wait!

And I'm glad that OMGCNFO is good again. It sucked when all that crap went down last year.

Chiming in a little late here because I've been moving since Thursday (oh and it sucks), but I got my Stormtroopers on Saturday afternoon at about 200PM. This figure overthrows the SA Clone, IMO.

Just got my figures, but I'm at work, so I really can't open them up and check them out. I'll have to wait until lunch...the benefits of having my own office!  ;D

I have to say, that was a great order from OMGCNFO, and I'm glad to be able to use them again, because their prices really are the best I've seen.

I got Boba today, and I am about to open him. Hopefully he'll be as good as the Stormtrooper.

I personally think he is...  Same articulation save for the waist joint.  He's good...  I could stand a couple more of him to customize myself.

God, I'm falling behind...  Must get my extras, and my first of Chewie, 3PO, and R2...  Chewie I anxiously look forward to.

Ack! IMO, Boba's only flaw is arm movement. It's hard for me to position his right arm because of those rubber cords/wires. Everything else is pretty good though.

EDIT: Looks like another Hasbro mistake reguarding POA. I count 4 points less than the 18 they promised.

Yeah, I don't know what they were going for on that either...  It's the same articulation as the Stormie, really, sans the ball/socket torso...

I dunno if they tried fudging #'s or what.  ball/socket joints are one joint, not two or three...  I've seen people thinking otherwise, but not quite.

Still, Hasbro's style means less joints but the same poseability lines like 21st's X-Treme Detail line or BBI's Elite Force 1:18 lines have.  To me Hasbro's set an even higher bar for THOSE companies to attain now.  The ball/socket joints hide much better than cut joints.

Looking at what is available at EE now (granted, all preorders, cases, etc. have now been spoken for)...it doesn't look like Chewie or R2 is even available any longer in upcoming cases.  This concerns me with finding the wook (as well as our favorite Bounty Hunter) at retail.  Hopefully there are still cases coming through the retail systems as well.
