Yeah but they are British so it doesn't really count does it? ;)
The problem with America is stupidity I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself

I'd have to agree with them.  Blade Runner's been my absolute above all ever favorite movie for the last ten years or so.  It's absolutely brilliant.

Along with SW and a few others, Blade Runner is a film that seriously encouraged my appreciation for design and quality S-F, I first saw it in ’84 at a midnight showing in Vina Del Mar, the theatre housed about three others besides my parents and me, and as soon as that magnificent first shots of the industrial skyline  (perfectly accompanied by Vangelis’ soundtrack) I was hooked! I think it’s probably my second most watched film, right after Empire. Hopefully nobody will ever make a sequel to it (as it’s been rumored for years) it’s a stand-alone classic and should be left alone.

Blade Runner is tops on my list & the soundtrack is awesome.

We went for Chinese food before the movie started & when we left the theater, it was raining. Fitting!  8)

A worthy winner, IMO.

I wouldn’t call Star Wars a “Sci-Fi” movie though.  If it is, it’s only a smallish ingredient in the mix.  I mean it’s fairly sci-fi in style, but not really in its themes.
