Vator's customs...Updated: The Fourth of January
« on: September 6, 2004, 07:58 PM »
On Saturday I was lucky enough to find two Admiral Ozzel's at my local Wal-Mart. However, I did not like the Admiral Ozzel head sculpt and began to think of what cooler figures could be made from him.

I then decided that he'd look pretty sweet with a Captain Antilles head. And so I swapped them. The Antilles head did fit the post, if not just a bit snuggly.

Then I put Ozzel's head on the Antilles body and I thought it look pretty neat for a Sergeant or something and BAM! 2 new and neat looking customs!

Pictures will be coming soon, I have to recharge the batteries for the cam.

I just did a very similar Imperial Admiral custom, but I went an extra step and added Ozzel's hat to Capt. Antilles' head. With that done, it becomes a deadringer for Moff Jerjerrod....

Perhaps something to try if you find more Ozzel's in the future.

Happy Customizing!

Great swap - definately see if you can't swap the head-wear, too! Admiral White looks fine without a cap (if they Admirals even wear caps), but Osel needs his helmet!  ;)

I love these pop off heads Hasbro is using from time to time.  They need to do this more often.

Oh no, that's a REALLY, REALLY, REALLY old photonovel I touched up...I mean we're talking May of 2003. But on that note, yes I am making a photonovel, that should be done in the next few months.

A few new customs I've made...some are pretty sloppy, but I think they're good enough.

Enjoy!

What the heck happened here, I just replied and my post got deleted.

Anyways, I was saying it was good to see an update.  I would suggest a few more parts swaps, but repaints are always nice too.

The Bib looks really cool, like a totally new figure with the red paint scheme.

I like the Agen Kolar repaint too, it gives him a totally new look, almost looks like a female Zabrak or something.  I like that.

Same goes for the Ugnaught, I've never seen a pilot version before.  Pretty cool!

Cool customs, very diverse.  I like that Ugnaught (sp?) - does he have a backstory?
The civilians turned out well, although a few headswaps on the jedi might make them look less like jedi.  Great stuff!
The scariest thing that I've ever seen,
Is the terrible AT-AT walking machine.
It's as big as a house on walking legs,
and whatever it steps on it crushes like eggs.

i like the red Bib the best - nice throwback to the vintage kenner Bib that was a salesman's sample & never sold.
