Agreed.   Good for him for following his dreams or whatever, but when it comes to understanding how he screwed his teammates, the guy just doesn't get it.

You got a serious blow dealt to you with T.O. being out.  Can't say I have much sympathy for the guy since he's such a showboat on the field, but it sucks that one of your top scorers is out.  If I wind up winning, it kind of cheapens the victory with TO out with an injury.

Dunno, doesn't really matter.  Only thing that matters is I went on vacation and McNair got hurt.  Foolishly I didn't switch to Volek (mostly because I didn't have computer access and didn't really worry about it, I thought McNair was healthy - again - finally).  Had I switched in Volek I would have beat mosnab and met up with you, resoundingly thumping your ass.

Yes, the whole point is moot since I didn't make the switch, but I can enjoy the fact I would have been in the final for a rematch against Zod.  Hawaii wins over fantasy football anyway, but I can still be a dink with the best of them. :P

I'd trade Hawaii for being in the JD FFL final too.

EDIT* - Just looking at the numbers now.  Yeah, you would've beat me soundly this week (unless I had started Roy Williams instead of Reggie Wayne), and I had a good week.  But you still would've beat me by about 10 points unless Vinatieri went on a scoring streak.

Yeah, I'm not lamenting over his injury or anything - with the exception of in this situation here.   T.O. aside, I'm concerned about other players not playing... like Manning or Bettis.

We'll see I guess.

Home field is still up for grabs in the AFC I think so I would think all teams will still be playing their hearts out in Week 16.  The Eagles and Falcons are really the only teams with nothing to play for

I hope that's the case - I also hope Manning is looking to SHATTER that touchdown record this week.

Well, I'm leaving tomorrow for Florida - might not be around the computer much.  In any case, good luck to the nuckleheads and I should be back to check in sometime Sunday night.

Hey everyone...  Just checking in and glad to see that Donald Driver managed to net more points than Randy Moss.  Who'da thunk it?

Driver - 9.24
Moss -  6.60

So far so good...but I'm highly concerned about Larry Johnson and Julius Jones - two young guys, who have fresh legs, and are hot as of late.

Merry Christmas everyone.

Unless my math is wrong, we've got a close one!

The Zods (11-2-0)

  QB P. Manning (Ind - QB) - 8.83
* WR J. Galloway (TB - WR) - 1.20
  WR D. Driver (GB - WR) - 9.24
  RB D. Davis (Hou - RB) - 9.78
  RB J. Bettis (Pit - RB) - 2.60
* TE K. Dilger (TB - TE) - 0.10
  K J. Carney (NO - K) - 6.00
* DEF Tampa Bay (TB - DEF) - 1.00

 Total 38.75

Nicklabs Nuckleheads (9-4-0)

  QB J. Harrington (Det - QB) - 1.18
  WR R. Wayne (Ind - WR) - 1.22
  WR R. Moss (Min - WR) - 6.60
* RB J. Jones (Dal - RB) - 1.30
  RB La. Johnson (KC - RB) - 14.44
  TE T. Heap (Bal - TE) - 0.68
* K A. Vinatieri (NE - K) - 10.00
* DEF Buffalo (Buf - DEF) - 2.00

 Total 37.42

And given who's left playing for each team, I don't like my chances.

Okay, my sheet shows this:

The Zods (11-2-0)

  QB P. Manning (Ind - QB) - 8.83
  WR J. Galloway (TB - WR) - 7.96
  WR D. Driver (GB - WR) - 9.24
  RB D. Davis (Hou - RB) - 9.78
  RB J. Bettis (Pit - RB) - 2.60
  TE K. Dilger (TB - TE) - 0.46
  K J. Carney (NO - K) - 6.00
  DEF Tampa Bay (TB - DEF) - 1.00

 Total 45.87

Nicklabs Nuckleheads (9-4-0)

  QB J. Harrington (Det - QB) - 1.18
  WR R. Wayne (Ind - WR) - 1.22
  WR R. Moss (Min - WR) - 6.60
  RB J. Jones (Dal - RB) - 1.34
  RB La. Johnson (KC - RB) - 14.44
  TE T. Heap (Bal - TE) - 0.68
  K A. Vinatieri (NE - K) - 11.00
  DEF Buffalo (Buf - DEF) - 6.00

 Total 42.46

But there's plenty of room for error since I'm just looking at box-scores.

Anyone with a stat tracker want to come in here and declare one of us the actual winner?

Not sure where you got those numbers, but my Stat Tracker came up with the following final:

Nicklab's Nucklehead's:  43.46

The Zod's:  45.84

Congrats, KBZ!
