Boy, I sure am glad I checked the injury report with Corey Dillon listed as "Questionable" and benched him, only to have him rush for 2 TD's.  End result?  Chuckles beats me.  So much for 3rd place, it was nice for the week I  had it.  Anyhow, nobody cares, so here's the scores:

Dressel's Rebellion  19.33 *Tricked into benching Corey Dillon.
 Defending Champs 22.04

 Old Cocky Bastards 13.62
 Springfield Isotopes 47.90

 Nataku Dragons 32.40
 The Zods 16.60

 Nicklabs Nuckleheads  29.39
 Canuckleheads 50.24

 purple cobras 15.08
 Nerfherders 30.59

 DUSTRHO Destruction 10.85
 ThatOneTeam 33.49

 Tatooine Express 50.41
 Famine 3.44

Thanks!

Did you pay for the stat tracker or are you just still getting it by accident?

I still probably would have beat you Dressel. That score doesn't include my Saints D, who so far have given me 5 pts, Duece McAllister, who has given me another 7+, and I still have Torry Holt going tomorrow.

Yup, would have been a squeaker.  That's the way the cookie crumbles.

Meanwhile, after starting out 3-1, I'm getting my ass kicked for the second straight week.

Well, neither of my RBs (Ahman Green and Lee Suggs) managed to have a huge rushing day, but they decided to throw and catch a touchdown respectively instead.  Otherwise, my RBs have been kind of a disappointment so far this year.  In my other league, my RB lineup is a bit stronger (S. Alexander, D. McAllister, R. Droughns, B. Westbrook).  Anyways, very surprised to see I was leading (so far), figured I'd be getting trounced again this week :).

On the non-fantasy side of things, I was really happy to see Reuben Droughns have another great game yesterday.  Always been a Broncos fan, and enjoy the running backs they've had over the years.  Sounds like they have another great one here, and from what I hear he's a nice guy too.  I always like to hear about professional athletes that are still "friendly".  Plus, they won again :).  Also, watching the Minny game last night, Daunte Culpepper really seem to be turning into something special.  The guy can chuck that ball.

I picked up Droughns in my other league since Edge was on a bye this week and was more than happy with the results.  I watched a little bit of the Broncos Raiders game and it was awesome watching him run over Raiders.  Sort of in the old Christian Okeye/Bo Jackson/The Bus mold.

Looks like I made a valiant comeback effort but fell short...again.  My backs and receivers are crap

I take it back... I'm down less than 12.5 points and I have my QB, TE, and DEF playing tonight.

I'm still alive!

My team looked great on paper, which I reminded Dressel didn't amount to anything because they had to perform on the field, and boy was I right.  I may pick up my FIRST win this week, which is down right pathetic.  I barely even follow this squad anymore, for reasons some of you already know.  I'm far more focused on my other 3 teams which currently sit 6-0, 5-1 and 2-4 respectively (and my 2-4 team is the highest scoring team in that particular league, go figure that one out.)

The bad news....the Bucs lost again.

The good news, I think between the Defense, Griese's pretty good night, and Dilger's couple of catches, they scored me enough points to eek out a win.  I think.

Great come from behind victory by your squad.

Well, I'm back to .500 (and the worst .500 team to boot), but at least I've got 3 wins....

So, I got that goin' for me, which is nice.

Word.  I'd have rather the Bucs won and I lost though...

Next week will be tough for me, but it will help if Moss is sitting out...
