Mark your calendars.  Week 9.  Zods vs. Canuckleheads.

S. McNair (Ten - QB)  Bye
J. Walker (GB - WR)  Bye
J. Smith (Jac - WR) Bye
A. Crumpler (Atl - TE)  Bye
B. Leftwich (Jac - QB)  Bye
B. Volek (Ten - QB)  Bye
Green Bay (GB - DEF)  Bye
J. Scobee (Jac - K)  Bye

Sure some of those dont' really matter like the K and DEF - but he'll have limited options come that game.   Oh, and the only QB he has left on his roster is Rich Gannon - who is almost definitely done for the year, and probably done for his career.

My only guys who will be out are Donald Driver, who I rarely start anyway, and the Jacksonville DEF - which I haven't used yet.

Oh, Kevin.  Really now, look at it from a logical American standpoint.  If I beat you, a young, big, FAMOUS guy up, it's a complete shock, after all, you keep telling me I'm old and weak.  No one will believe it.  If you beat me up, I sue you for assault based on size and age.   :-*

Thanks Zod for pointing out that gap I had.

Stallworth is fine as a replacement, IMO.  My WR's haven't usually been my strength and I'm hoping McCardell signs by then.  He's got to be getting hungry.  If not, there's always a chance that a trade to Dallas will revitalize my other WR.

I added Feely to my roster, he may or may not play, but at least it doesn't say bye beside his name.  Gannon was my week 9 cover player, but for obvious reasons that's disappointing.

Crumpler I am not disappointed by at all, but I do have a backup TE and an average of two points is no great loss, as you indicated.

Thank God the Packers have a bye week ::)  I just dumped them.  I had three defences for a while, but opted to play the Pack the week KC had the bye, should have played San Diego.

Scobee is my number two kicker and already did his duty replacing Akers, so he can ride the bench for as long as necessary.  And Akers has been very, very strong for me, putting up big numbers.

I'll admit it doesn't look pretty, but I thought Nick had me this week with three spots playing Monday night.  I tuned in long enough to see one of his RB's score and figured I was done.  Alas, for you sad sacks it was not to be.

Still going for an undefeated season.  :)

McCardell was traded to the Chargers yesterday.  He should be playing by then.

Thanks, I missed that.  Jeez, my guys are bouncing a bit.  Morgan went to the Cowboys apparently being reunited with one of his college teammates so hopefully that will help him.  He's been below average, but not awful, at least with respect to my WR's.  Walker had one great game, but aside from that I'm fortunate to see a TD a game out of my guys.

I'll tell you this much though.  I had no plans on relying on San Diego quite so much as a team (LT, McCardell, Def) prior to the start of the season :o

I can always hope some of your guys get hurt this week Zod.

Kevin, no matter - teenager assaults middle aged father, 4 year old daughter devastated to see daddy hurt.  Won't play well in your press release, though I expect it will make you more famous and more typical at the same time :P

Nuh-uh.  Despite your current fame, the reality is children suffering will clearly offset any transient gains provided by your temporary fame.  You'll be another Tommy Lee or worse.  And I'll have all your money :)
