I think Brent you're behind because Dressel has a bunch more games in than you do (almost 20)  Looks like your Utility spots are down a few games so you could make up some ground there

Yeah, I'm down about 13 or so there.  Is that all it takes?  Like I said, I'm there, I know what I have, but I haven't figured it all out yet.

I don't see the problem. I'm very far into the hole and those players are of less use to me than they would be in the right hands. No one ever offered, that I know of,  for them. I really don't see the problem. :-\

The first part of your post is the problem.

You can't just give-up and dump all your good players to the best team in the league!  While maybe it's not cheating directly, it's a close as you can get and it's a pretty crappy thing to do to the guys in 2,3,4 places.  Pretty crappy of you and Dressel to even try it IMHO.

If this is the way it's going to be, where the crappiest team scuttles itself for the good of one of the best teams, then Simon or Brent or Scott you can have Nash, Francis, Camby, and who ever else you want from my squad...

I think there might be a problem with Yahoo first. It occasionaly works for me. If you remember I was having problems with Yahoo with Football. With Basketball, I think I recall actually getting a trade proposal from MYSELF, or somthing odd like that, because it stuck in my mind. We shall see how it works out.

Hmmmmm....

When I tried to make a similar trade for Alge Crumpler for Keyshawn Johnson late in the season I was immediately branded a cheater by none other than Dressel himself.

I say no to any trades like that.

I am going to say 3 things on this topic:

1.  Scott - Famine told me that earlier this season you offered Richard Hamilton and Jason Terry for Allen Iverson.  I suppose if that was accepted, that would have been fine with you?  So just stop it.

2.  The Jaws just scored Jermaine O'Neal, Ray Allen and Emeka Okafor in an extremely lopsided deal from Dunking Wookies who is also out of the running.

3.  And hey, I offer up a deal, if it gets accepted, so be it.

Even with my deal, after that BLOWOUT Jaws just scored, even though he's 7 points back of me, he is going to BEAT me.  I had to try.

Didn't The JAWS just secure Ray Allen, Jermaine O'Neal, and Emeka Okafor  in a pretty lopsided trade? For Garnett, Kurry, and Jamison, right? That's a little slanted, but no one is on that. I don't know. :P

Dressle beat me to it. :-[

Absolutely, JAWS gains 8 categories, rebounds, blocks, 3's in a HUGE way, and loses only in assists slightly.  Because of that lopsided deal, all 9 of us may as well quit right now.  At least I'm trying to salvage my season.

Just a couple more thoughts here...

First off, I like playing fantasy too much with you guys to argue about this, so I'm not going to.  But 2 more obvious points here.  Zod - HoloElvis was upset about an official scorer's decision that cost him a game and started spewing his stars all over the league.  This is hardly the same thing.  Scott - I don't understand how you can say "you're quitting" when you attempted to get Iverson for practically nothing, and would have been just fine, not to mention silent, about that had Famine accepted that one rather than mine.

This is way too silly a thing for me to argue about.  I've said my share.

 ::)

Nothing like being a bit dramatic, eh?

The Jaws trade (which ISN'T finalized yet and can still be vetoed):

Jaws (Players to Trade)
K. Garnett (Min - F)   season rank 2
A. Jamison (Was - F)  season rank 41
E. Curry (Chi - C)  season rank 185

Dunking Wookiees (Players to Trade)
R. Allen (Sea - SG)  season rank 15
J. O'Neal (Ind - PF) season rank 78
E. Okafor (Cha - FC) season rank 85

Average of Jaws 3 players traded: 76
Average of Wookiees 3 players traded: 59

Brian is getting KG, season rank #2 (and the best player included in the trade), so I'd expect a bit of lopside towards jaws for that reason...

Now let's look at your trade...

Dressel's Rebels (Players to Trade)
A. Miller (Den - PG)  season rank 71
C. Atkins (LAL - PG)  season rank 59
W. Szczerbiak (Min - SF)  season rank 102

The Famine (Players to Trade)
A. Iverson (Phi - G,PG,SG)  season rank 18
A. Walker (Bos - F)   season rank 37

Average of Dressel 3 players traded: 83
Average of Famine 2 players traded: 28

With numbers as lop-sided as this, I'd expect Famine to be getting the #1 rated player at LEAST.  Since I don't see Famine getting any kind of KG quality player, I have to assume it's a crappy trade.

Let's be real here... Give me a break ::)

Garnett #2
Jamison #41

Allen #15
O'Neal #78

I know Allen and O'Neal have been out, but look at last months ranks and that's still even (Okafor and Curry count for ****)  I think that's a fair deal

Well I'm scraping and clawing my way up from 9th, and while I know I've got little to no chance of winning the league, I find it hard to accept that this is one of the explanations:

3.  And hey, I offer up a deal, if it gets accepted, so be it.

That was no where near good enough for you when I was leading in the Football league and tried to upgrade my TE position (I was called a cheater), but it's okay now?

Nothing changes the fact that you're trading a bunch of bench players for the 2nd highest scorer in the league.
