Advice for Halloween costume

I'm making the tremendous leap from Obi-Wan Kenobi to AOTCish Anakin Skywalker for Halloween this year. The clothing is fairly simple, at least easier than when I dressed as Vader from '95-'01, lol.
Anyway, I want to add the artificial arm, but where the hell am I going to find something that looks passable?

KB Toys carries this fake robotic arm, and you hold it in the sleve, and it allows you to wiggle your fingers. A coat of gold, and your, well, golden.

Give it a try.

eviscerate your arm down to the bone, and once you can control the bleeding, grab a can of gold spray paint and juice it up. if that's not movie accurate, i don't know what is.

Does anyone know where one might rent Stormtrooper armour? I know, that's the lame way to do it, but I can't really afford to buy and customize armour. Does anyplace rent ?
