Linkin Park soooooooooooo eats my balls.

You sir, do not rock. >:(

To each his own.

Kevin

Why because he has taste? :P

Seriously how does in any way shape or form Linkin Park rock? They're music is whiny pseudo-rap and is on the same level of crapitude as such bands as Papa Roach and Limp Bizkit. Gawd those bands so suck!

Oh and if we're going to be going with honorable mentions then I'd like to add...

Metallica's And Justice For All
AC/DC's Back in Black
Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon
Black Sabbath's Black Sabbath

just for starters :)

Oh, man, I do so rock.  At least, I rock as hard as I possibly can, what with Linkin Park eating my balls as hard as they do.

 ;D ;D ;D ;D

I'm recanting my decision for greatest album ever, and decided to bestow it upon an album that forever altered my musical direction...

See, it's a generation gap too, I'm sure.
My first thought when you said LP haters?  huh!? Most of these were LPs when they were released?!
sigh... lets see- you are 18 so vinyl was already getting rare when you were born.
You are starting to damage my calm.

Favourite Beatles album is probably "Rubber Soul".
Also really love Fleetwood Mac's "Rumours" (yes, a chick album) and Split Enz's "Time and Tide".
I guess I'd have to go w/ "Rumours"...

:D  sad but true, there was a time when Rumours was not considered a chick album, rather main stream pop/rock and roll.  Of course Abba was quite popular at the time too, but that's neither here nor there.  I believe the music historians that do not lean towards the heavier side would agree that this is one of the best albums of all time.  Pretty cool too.  Oh dear, I said album :-[

Let's throw in some magical harmonies and yearning vocals from yesteryear -

All the critics in the world and Paul McCartney can't be wrong, can they?

Don't answer that.

Great album but one of the GAYEST cover art examples I've ever seen! (And by gay, I mean cheap and dumb looking, not that there's anything wrong with that... ::) )

Well, I gotta back you up here Kevin, Linkin Park is one of my favourites too.  However, I actually prefer Meteora over Hybrid Theory:

Oh, by the way, when you said LP haters, you meant Linkin Park haters, not LP (Long Play record) haters, didn't you?  At least that's how I understood it.   :)

No doubt. I like Hybrid Theory more because it seems a bit heavyer. While Meteora had Faint and Hit The Floor, Hybrid Theory had With You, By Myself, Forgotten, Place for My Head.

No doubt, LP Rocks.

And yes, I meant Linkin Park haters. Not Long Play Records.

You sir, Rock. ;D

And here I thought you'd lost your sense of humor.
