These are sold as a 4-pack?

No, the JLI figures are a regular wave of figures and not a box set.

Any idea how to order them individually?  The linky Jay posted appears to just be selling them as a set of four.   :-\

There will be a pile of e-tailers that sell them individually, not to mention local comic shops and Suncoast stores.

Just keep an eye on scifigenre, they are a good source for the DCD stuff since you get your comics there anyway.  The figures were just solicited by DCD on Monday and it usually takes scifigenre a few weeks to add them to the site after they are announced.

I always forget about them for figs.  Thanks for the tip, Swami!

I see Newsarama has a first look at DCD's SDCC'08 exclusive 10th Anniversary Batman and Joker figures.

I don't really care either way for another Batman repaint, but I really like the looks of that new straight-jacketed Joker figure.  I might have to track one of those down at some point...  :)

I may have asked this already but how do Death and Sandman fit in with the DCUC figures?

EW.com has photos of two of the upcoming Watchmen figures, Rorschach and Nite Owl.

They'll be previewing them and two others at NYCC this weekend.

   E...

Just noticed that BBTS has The Watchmen figures up for preorder for $54.99 per set of 4.

Watchmen Movie Action Figures Wave 01

Rorschash, Ozymandias, Nite Owl (modern) & Silk Spectre (modern).

Watchmen Movie Action Figures Wave 02

Comedian, Silk Spectre (classic), Dr. Manhattan & Nite Owl (classic).

I may land up getting these.  ;D

Wow, nice looking figures.  Too bad they don't come with better articulation.   :-\

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they are all going to be sold individually.
That way a year later they can make a box set with one new figure that you can only get in the box set. ;D

I don't really collect DC Direct figures, and will likely stick to DCUC for my DC fix - but this line looks pretty well done to me

History of the DC Universe

This might be old news, but like I said - I don't really follow the DC Direct stuff super closely, and just happened to see pics of the first two waves at AFI.  Check them out at the linky, if interested.

I saw that line and I have to say that figures based on Silver Age Perez work are going to be reeeeeeeally hard to pass up.

I already see great Batman, Aquaman, Green Arrow, and Flash figures and there are rumors of Martian Manhunter in Wave 3.  All I'd need is Hal and Black Canary and that would be the start of a very sweet SA JLA set up.

(gah, I need to stop thinking about this line asap before I decide to buy  :-[)

Oooh, pretty.  Best Flash I've seen.  I imagine I'll be weak and buy some.

Nice looking figures.  But they really don't look anything like George Perez's stuff.
