Just read something about how Ramis was barely going to be in GBIII anyway and how it's still a go.  Not sure if it's true, but it makes sense if it's more of a 21 Jump Street style reboot than a sequel.

Just read some info on the rework..

Not sure how many people read the X-Wing series or other EU, but Aaron Allston passed away yesterday.

I'm actually really saddened by this, beyond the usual "Hmm, that's a bummer" of celebrity deaths. His are among my favorite SW books and he was invariably awesome with fans. I can’t claim to have known him personally, but I met him at signings at CIII and CVI (probably CV as well) and always tried to catch as many of his panels as possible. I actually had a dream the other night that he was restarting the X-Wing series to fill the whole gap between Adumar and the NJO. Alas.

That blows.  He was one of the better EU writers.
This is the way.

I enjoyed many of his books; he came to a small star wars/toy collector convention in my cite way back in 2003.

Also last week, Bob Casale aka Bob 2 from Devo passed away from heart disease...

Colman speaks to me only in my dreams.

And any time I'm at a hockey game I can hear jjks swearing about the Preds on the wind.

Oh man, beat me to the punch...right here in little old Richmond, VA.

Farewell, you crazy, brilliant freak... :'(

Hard to see them continuing on without him but I admit they've fallen off my radar after the past few albums anyway.

Yeah... sucks.

To me Gwar is the second greatest thing to come out of Richmond - after Avail.

Tough to say that's shocking.

That said, my first GWAR experience was walking into the area toy show, and seeing a gorgeous woman in GWAR armor and paint walking a member of the band around in a leather mankini, foam armore, on a leash, and so yeah I dig GWAR if for no other reason than I appreciate their eccentricity.

I was a teenager, and  was simply flabbergasted, and I probably had a schwing moment going on too.

Then the dude on the leash I'm sure killed it, but I know I kept my eyes peeled for her at every turn during the show because, well, oh my god.  She was a nerd's wet dream come to life.

Ultimate Warrior apparently completes the trifecta. Odd because the dude has been all over the place the last three days.
