Yeah.  While every now and then he gets to the big ones first.  His strength seems to lie in finding more obscure celebrities and bringing us the news of their untimely deaths.

Betty White is a good guess...

I'll go with Abe Vigoda.

i'm gonna go out on a limb here and say it will be iron chef chen kenichi:

i love the man, but i think it's his time.

i predict that general windu will snag it in an upset.

You should probably add the trademark DBB single "RIP" with the sad smilyface at the end of the post.

Xander informs us of the death of John Peel - Yoda Boi is quick to share his condolences - for which I'm sure the Peel family is eternally grateful.  DBB is no where to be seen.

Looks like they missed one...good thing I'm hung over at work and caught it due to my inability to get any real work done today. Check out my latest RIP offering...

That seems like cheating

Someone should start a thread like

"Margaret Thatcher...Going to Die"

Someday she will and then that thread can be bumped

You know, someone did that once with Comic Results for Fred "ReRun" Berry

Yeah but he's dead now too so we all know how that worked out.

I agree though - I'll remove it - from now on predictions or near-death won't get credit.

Of course, once he does die that will be the thread they discuss it in - so whoever posts it first will get credit.

Yep - I was just coming in here to add that one...

Athough I find it a lot less funny than some of the celebrity deaths - I'm still disappointed that D.B.B. wasn't first.

Adding now...

I'm also going to take a little while this afternoon to add links to the bold names of the threads started by others - in the interest of making this a true archive of celebrity passing.

Searching for the links I found another one.

8/20/04 - Durge reported on Elmer Bernstein's passing.  I'm pretty sure it wasn't in the list until now.

whoo hoo!  Found another one from the D.B.B. himself - R&B Artist John Whitehead Shot Dead - added.

Also added Johnny Ramone - posted first by lady jaye.

Also added John Henry Williams, son of Ted Williams - brought to you by Chewbacca.

Also added Buddy Ebsen - reported by Ralph_Wiggum.

Also added Gregory Hines - shared by Force Guy.

Will finish tomorrow.

Has anyone ever mentioned the death of this man's career?
