Looks like a good time to update...end of the month, and right before everything starts tonight/tomorrow.  March was fairly light for me, but not as light as I thought it would be:

Unleashed Count Dooku - $5.00 (on clearance at Wal-Mart)
Galactic Heroes Anakin Skywalker and Count Dooku - $4.79
Galactic Heroes Obi-Wan Kenobi and General Grievous - $4.79
Galactic Heroes Yoda and Sidious - $4.79
Unleashed IG-88 - $14.99
Batman Begins Batman - $6.72
Vintage Burger King ESB Glass Set - $17.45 (including shipping)

Total for Month=$58.53 (plus tax)

Total for Year (Star Wars)=$151.77
Total for Year (Combined)=$217.25

Didn't plan on spending even that much in March, but happened upon a low auction for the ESB glasses, which I've wanted for awhile, and happened upon a lone Unleashed IG-88 at TRU.  The Batman Begins figure was an impulse buy, and the only one I'll get from the line most likely.  April could be a doozy, but I'm (hopefully) going to try to spread things out a bit like Mikey.

Well, March has come and gone...

03-Jan-05 - 6x Kubrick Figures (Sesame Street S1/Animated Batman)
03-Jan-05 - 3x Kubrick Figures (Movie Batman)
05-Jan-05 - 3x Clone Wars Animated Figures (ARC, Ani, Grev)
18-Jan-05 - 3x Galactic Heroes 2-packs (Tatooine Wave)
21-Jan-05 - 1x Batman Kubrick (Azrael)
24-Jan-05 - 1x Post-OTC SW Basic Figures (2005-#9 Luke)
25-Jan-05 - 4x RotS Sneak Preview Figures (1x each)
28-Jan-05 - 4x RotS Sneak Preview Figures (1x each)
01-Feb-05 - 1x Batman Kubrick (Robin - Japan Version)
15-Feb-05 - 1x RotS Sneak Preview Starfighter

04-Mar-05 - 3x SW RotS Assault Vehicles
04-Mar-05 - 3x SW Galactic Heroes 2-packs (RotS Wave 1)
14-Mar-05 - 3x SW-RotS Basic Figures

January 2005 Total:   $191.51 with tax/shipping
February 2005 Total:   $30.28 with tax/shipping
March 2005 Total:   $96.29 with tax/shipping

Star Wars: $222.41
Other:  $95.67

Total = $318.08

March was slow, but I still managed spend stick around my budgeted $100 thanks to the early RotS vehicle score...

Unfortunately, this weekend should pretty much blow away my April/May/June/July budgets in one swoop!  If only I had known back in January that there could be 40 new figures in April...  :-\

Not to steer this off topic, but I'm with you. If I had known in January how badass this line would be, with the amount of stuff we would be offered, I'd have saved more, but since my chunk of change is going to SW digs at C3, I can't say much about saving. :-X

The April 2nd rush happened on March 21 for me, so it's likely going to be one of my best/worst months.   ;)

Mar 4 -  250 Real Stands - $118.44
Mar 4 -  SAGA Slave I and Lego Super Battle Droid - $49.74
Mar 7 -  39 loose POTF2 figures - $143.70
Mar 16 - SAGA Clone & Sandtrooper (shipping for trade) - $6.95
Mar 17 - 2 Bust-Ups, POTJ Clone, OTC 21 - $37.49
Mar 21 - 4 POTJ figures - $40.72
Mar 21 - 41 ROTS figures - $377.33
Mar 22 - 2 ROTS figures - $20.46
Mar 23 - 3 Kubricks - $24.70
Mar 23 - Unleashed Stormtrooper, IG-88, Aurra Sing - $87.00
Mar 24 - 5 ROTS figures - $51.13

Mar Total = $957.66 CDN = $789.37 US
Feb Total = $256.65 CDN = $211.55 US
Jan Total = $943.11 CDN = $759.78 US

Year to Date = $2157.42 CDN = $1760.70 US

edit... On a side note, my wife "gave" me her sewing room to expand my Star Wars room as a Valentine's Day gift.  Very cool.  So we decided to build a spare bedroom in the basement, which lead to new carpet, which lead to painting the basement, which lead to some art on the walls.   ::)  Now it looks like this "gift" is going to cost us at least $5000.  That should help me to win this race.   ;)

Much like everyone else, April 2nd saw a huge increase in my overall spending. But unlike most, it was unexpected. I hadn't planned on buying so many figures so soon, but I got swept up in the moment.  ;D

Transformers:
1/2/05: 6x Takara SCF figures: $18
1/23/05: HOC Perceptor (via eBay): $4.24
               Takara SCF Act-5 Case (via eBay): $11.00
                * Total For Day: $15.24 *
2/10/05: HOC Full Wave 5 (via eBay): $29.99
2/19/05: Alternators Grimlock: $21.70

Year End Total: $84.93

Star Wars:
1/2/05: POTF Warok Coin: $3
2/2/05: VOTC Han Solo (thanks JJ!): $5.90
2/18/05: ROTS Sneak Preview Wave: $25.40
               OTC Gamorrean Guard: $1.08
               * Total For Day: $26.48 *
2/19/05: ROTS Sneak Preview Anakin Starfighter: $21.70
3/13/05: ROTS SP Wookiee Warrior: $5.27
3/19/05: ROTS Figures x2: $8.16 (thanks to a Wal-Mart employee who didn't care that she wasn't supposed to sell these and didn't care about the price.  ;D)
               ROTS Droid Tri-Fighter: $21.74
               * Total For Day: $29.90 *
4/2/05:   ROTS ARC-170 Fighter: $31.45 (after $1 off coupon at Target register)
               ROTS Figures x6: $32.48 (after each got $1 off at Target register)
               ROTS Figures x8: $45.48 (at Walmart)
               * Total For Day: $109.41 *

Year End Total: $201.66

Well that just doubled my spending so far, but there's still a lot left in the year.... ::)

Nuh-uh junior, renovating anything outside your basement room does not count.   :P

My January total is $79.71.  Not bad  8).

There is absolutely nothing that I want and since my sabers won't ship until April, I'm good for two more months.

My grand total now is $1,408.65.  Holy crap!!  I did some heavy duty shopping and my lightsabers are shipping.  I can't even fathom what my cc bill will look like when April is done :o.

I'm at around $330 now, will probably increase by the end of the month.

One good thing about Hasbro releasing figs early is that we get the high prices out of the way now... :P
