I had heard those comments on the radio a week or so back, just the ones about Jessica by her dad, and that is just....messed up. I do get the feeling that he controls pretty much everything in their lives, and from watching the Newlyweds show every once in awhile with the Mrs., he seems to be quite the strange bird (the dad). I remember when Jessica Simpson first had some songs getting played on the radio/MTV, well before any Newlyweds, Nick and Jessica stuff, and she was a very talented singer. Since then she has for some reason begun doing all the gyrations and spasms when she sings, and doesn't seem to sound as good as she used to. I do agree though, I've had enough of that family too. From what we've seen, Jessica seems to be a nice enough (although also spoiled and ditzy) person, but haven't ever cared too much for her sister. Either way, they are definitely one of the overexposed celebrities of the moment.
