I bought 3 bootlegs from Doug, all Darth Vader of course.  ;)

They're in the mail as we speak, I can't wait for them to arrive.

A nice little addition to my bootlegs, a Polish unused cardback. As seen is this link on A Guide to Polish Bootleg Star Wars Figures, this cardback was used for containing weapons from my understanding. Man, this cardback is in awesome condition.  8)

I just received 3 Polish Darth Vader bootlegs yesterday, so I thought I'd spotlight them and the other ones I have.  I've really been enjoying these, but as I need fewer cheap ones that means I'm looking at getting into more expensive ones.  We'll see just how badly I want them...

This is one of 3 unarticulated Polish bootlegs that I have.  This version has a black saber...

...this one has a white saber...

...and this one is saberless.  Poor bastard. [:O]

This is a 1st Generation Polish bootleg...

...this is a 2nd Generation version...

...and this is a 3rd Generation Vader.  Note the kick ass sword.  ;)

BTW, I have to thank Dale and JohnA for helping me expand my bootleg collection.  :)

I just received another Polish unused cardback, this one from my understanding in the few post above was used for the figures. I think these 2 cardbacks would look nice framed together.  8)

Cool pick ups on the Vaders Jesse!

FYI - that sword is a bootleg of the 1989 Snake Eyes sword - http://www.yojoe.com/access/d89/84.shtml

Kinda ironic since I used that sword as a stand in for Luke's lightsaber at the end of my "official" toy playing days.

Cool, thanks for the link!  I guess it would only make sense that the weapon would be bootlegged too.

They were both used for figures, Dale. There's pics of carded ones in my article. They've been there for almost 7 years. ;)

Nobody remembers John though. LOL For some reason Jakub's article gets all the attention now. He helped me a lot over the years with info but he actually got a lot of his information for his article from me.  In fact, many of the Polish sellers know what they know because of my article. Anyway...

I do need to update it though since they aren't 2nds as originally thought. It's just a later wave of 1st Gens. It's thought that the tall cards would have also come with weapons attached but none have surfaced yet.
