Absolutely amazing!  I can't imagine how they could have done that translation from picture to 3D any better.  The blue reflection from Vader's saber is slick, and Luke looks great with the facemask.

Wow, I don't own any Koto kits but this one will be on my list for sure.

I've always loved that sketch.

What do these type of pieces usually cost?  I don't really like High end collectables that much, but this is very cool.

Anyone else have the feeling that Gentle Giant will jump on the McQuarrie bandwagon in fairly short order?  I think so and I'll wait for those to happen first.

Well I'm a big fan of KOTO, but those McQuarrie-stuff-figures just doesn't hit my brains positively, more badly negative :(.
I excualy hate all of the stuff (but that's personal) that's coming out this year that's related too McQuarrie >:(.

Just look at that Vader... the whole head messed-up and the figure not as cool and powerfull as it just should be.
And Luke, he all f*ck*dup with that mask. And what's with those lame lightsabers? :-X

I'm not sure if this line continues to 2008, but if it does, I would still NOT buy it, even if I got for free.... :P

I love this piece.

This is concept art... not meant to be visualized pieces.

This is where it all came from...

And me, I only do Sith and Clones/Troopers, so this is a must for me.

Thanks for the heads up!  I'm going to be patient and see how much other sites list it for - I think we can do better than $199.

Don't be so sure about that.  One little tidbit to come out of ToyFair is that Master Replicas is taking over US distribution of Kotobukiya products.  That may set more of a standard price, and those prices may tend to skew higher as MR's product runs a little more expensive.  When Dark Horse/Diamond were handling distribution you were very likely to get competitive pricing.  Now, I'm not so sure.
