Bummer also that I only got 6 of my 10 choices!  What's up with that?!   :'(  How can folks not want that sweet Treadwell Droid and that freak lookin' Wioslea?!  Boring ol' human characters...  Guess I can't get all of my Cantina aliens in one fell swoop, huh?

Bring on AOTC!

And you thought your list was the list, huh Matt?  Don't you know people love freaky looking pot smokers and not multi-armed, multi-tasking droids (well, maybe women prefer the latter  ;))?  But there's still hope that Hasbro packages them together.

okay, just who voted on this since no on is happy with this list?   Too many rebel pilots.  If they want to do "boring ol' human characters, I'd much rather see the Antilles and rebel & imperial leaders/officers made before a bunch of bland pilots are made.  I definitely would liket to see the Treadwell droid, mining droid, R5-D4 before the pilots.  Not that I wouldn't love to have the pilots.... they could just come wayyyyyyyyyy down the list for me.  If people want the Tonnika sisters so bad, they should just put them in a seen in Ep. III then there wouldn't be a problem.   Hasbro would be using the new actresses' likenesses.

I was suprised how high the Red and Gold Leaders ranked as well personally I find background humans just as exciting as aliens.  Hasbro doesn't though...Antilles and Dodonna will be retail poison I think but I am glad they are coming

Same goes for Tagge, although him, Red Leader, Gold Leader and the other two Rebel Generals are some of the few characters left who had multiple lines in the movie and no figures yet

I also think R and G LEader could be done ala the upcoming Outlander Patrons using the same X-Wing Jumpsuit and different heads and helmets.  Throw in R2 units and you have a goldmine (maybe not literally)  :P

Welp, I'm late, but I'm voting...  So tough.

1) New Rebel Fleet Trooper...  Yes, he does suck and needs a new figure.  What's he gonna have?  Well I'm glad I asked because here it comes...

-Removeable helmet with thin rubbery strap (Check out the X-treme Detail paratroopers.  It's 100% feasible!!!)

-Functioning holster with PROPERLY scaled blaster.

-Removeable vest with pliable plastic (Not that rigid job the POTJ figure got).

-3 unique 1970's hairstyled head variants.  Yup, 70's are back and we're gonna get that old fart that dropped faster than a dress on prom night when the stormies blasted in.

-14 points of articulation including a ball/socket shoulder as well as the swivel-pin joint knee.

-And if I did him, he'd get a couple EU accessories like a bandoleir of grenades and a shoulder sachel.

2) Yavin Rebel Technician...  He'd come with multiple articulation points, a removeable tech helmet (Minus the neck piece the soldiers wear), a couple tools, and a removeable headset incase you want him working in the war room.

3) Reissue of the CT Stormie...  Give him some wrist articulation, a working holster, and maybe swivel-pin knees...  Great figure then.

4) Astromech 3-pack (Yeah, 3 figures I know but the thing's done so my vote isn't important anyway).  3 different decos, 3 different heads...  Hell, they could even make variants of this pack and we all know we'd buy them in bulk!

5) Sauron 2-pack...  I want em both from the Cantina.

6) Hem Dazon...  He needs it folks!  First alien in the Cantina we see.  I want him!

7) Cantina Snitch...  I want the human Garof Lafoe...  Goes out, tells sandies about Obi's little incident with the thugs.

8) Rebel Mid-level officer...  Brown tunic, tan hat with a yellow emblem...  Multiple articulation points, and a removeable hat of course. :)  Maybe multiple head variants.

9) Rebel Pilot...  3 head variants with 3 helmet variants.  You get Gold Leader, Red Leader, and a non-descript blue emblemed younger pilot with black visor.

10) And finally, drunk jawa 3-pack...  I want drunk jawas by god!

Well,  It looks like I should be VERY happy, as my top 3 choices are confirmed figures for 2004.  So, it looks like I need to update my ANH wishlist as well.  I believe we are supposed to get a CZ droid with the inevitable Sandcrawler & Hem Dazon is rumored, so I won't add either.

[Edited to take into consideration JediMAC's observation that some of us have been a tad overzealous using cinema scene and deluxe figures].

1. General Jan Dodonna
2. Captain Antilles
3. R1-G4 [to replace Scene Pack Sandcrawler droids 3 packs (especially R1-G4, R5-D4 & the mining droid).]
4. General Tagge [to take the place of my original #4, which was Deluxe Death Star Tractorbeam console/catwalk w/ Obi-Wan Kenobi w/ hood down]
5. Dannik Jerriko
6. Bom Vimdin
7. Myo
8. Colonel Wulf Yularen
9. R5-D4
10. Hem Dazon

So, my new improved list:

#1   General Tagge
#2   Colonel Wulf Yularen
#3   R5-D4 (resulpt) - I don't count the Star Tours one.
#4   Treadwell Droid (Purchase of the droids)
#5   Mining droid (Purchase of the droids)
#6   Dannik Jerriko
#7   Bom Vimdin
#8   Wioslea
#9   Tonnika Sisters
#10 Yavin Rebel Technician

What was I thinking???  I just re-read my list and released I took Hem Dazon off the list!  I guess I'll have to remove #8  Wioslea, since I like the boring human Dannik Jerriko.

...my ANH Top 10 list is finally ready to go!  Forget everyone else's lists, this is THE list that Hasbro should be working off of.  Period.  End of story.  JediMAC has spoken.  So without further ado...

  • Hem Dazon (Arcona) - The classic Cantina alien that started it all!
  • Tonnika Sister(s) - I won't cheat and demand a 2-pack like EVERYONE else...
  • Bom Vimdin - Cool lookin' Cantina alien
  • Feltipern Trevagg (Gotal) - Ditto
  • Myo - One eyed alien freak
  • Elis Helrot (Givins) - The inspiration for the ghost from Scream
  • Wioslea - This poor guy probably never gets the ladies, despite his cool new Landspeeder
  • CZ-3 - Gotta agree with Morgbug: Sexy eyes for a droid
  • WED15-1662 Treadwell Droid - The cool spider lookin' droid with more arms than anyone but FX-7
  • R1-G4 - Can this majestic statue of a droid actually move?  8)

Dammit.  It's been well over a year now since I posted this list, and I've gotten exactly ONE of these figures, with absolutely ZERO solid rumors or news on any of the others potentially coming.  This sucks!  This was supposed to be the year of POTJ II, and I'm starting to get pretty damned disappointed with some of the glaring exclusions from this year's line...   :'(

There's still another 2 - 3 unannounced waves (at least one of which will be Prequel figures) rumored to be coming prior to the Ep. 3 onslought next year, so Hasbro damned well better finally get a freaking Cantina wave out already!!!  What the hell's the hold up with these guys?!?   >:(
