Apparently, Andy broke the news that Fett was not next. Maybe Lando or Yoda? Emperor maybe?

Also, my Vader arrived yesterday.

My SS Vader

This is a f*****g amazing piece! Hope everyone who ordered gets theirs soon.

Yes, one of those two.  I keep trying to figure out who in the OT was referred to as a "project".  I'm probably imagining a clue there...

A project, eh?  Like an assembly project?  Like after you've been exploded and had to be a construction project for a wookiee?  That'd be the same protocol unit who like to say "Oh my!" as he said it in both in ANH (refring to Tusken) and RotJ (referring to being given to Jabba).

That ought to fuel your speculation for a while...  ;)

Depressing fuel anyway.  C-3PO makes perfect sense for this line, light up eyes and all.  The detail could indeed be amazing.  But it's a figure I just won't be spending money on.

I could see myself buying a stormtrooper/snowtrooper or Fett.  Not that many others I would buy.  I'm sure I'll regret those words later ::)

The boxes on these are huge.  A seller I know at the local toy show (we used to play on the same hockey team) had a Han and Luke in his booth.

Jeff, you may have hit the nail on the head with your guess of the "project" being C-3PO.  But even as crucial to the saga as he is, I'm not sure that I'd be very excited to get one.  And even though Sideshow's quality continues to blow me away, I'm not sure what they could do to make it very "exciting".

On the other hand, the Leia looks amazing!  The cloth they used for her dress looks great and her facial sculpt is bang-on.  I can't wait to have that one!

Understatement of the year!  My Vader just arrived this morning and I was blown away by how big the box was (I guess that's why it cost me $75US to get it shipped up here ::)).

I can't wait to rip into that box after work tonight!   :D

$67CDN.

 >:(

$350US + $75US + $67CDN = $568CDN.  There goes my budget for the month.  :P  But I have a feeling it's going to be worth every penny.  Did I mention I'm excited to open it?  :D  ;)

It arrived in Calgary on Friday, then shipped in to Saskatoon on Monday, meaning they drove right through my town yesterday to do that.  So it was put on a bus and sent here late last night.  Clowns.  ::)

(I think I used up my quota of smilies for this post  :o  ;D)

Well, got mine, at last. The thing is jaw-droppingly good. There are so many points to praise:

- The cloak with its seperate outer and inner lining pieces with metal Sith chain and hook
- Full pleather body suit from foot to neck with perfect stitching
- Ankle guantlets that are seperate from the boot
- Resin armor pieces
- Leather belt with individual utility boxes
- The light up components look good even when off they're so well concealed

It's just perfect, perfect, perfect. It's probably the best piece in my collection. At least until the Attakus Falcon.  ;)

It's probably the best piece in my collection.

Without a doubt!  My wife actually insisted I display it in the living room because even she thinks it looks cool.

I love the flowing cape and stitched leather body suit.  His helmet is incredible!  (I've heard many people complain that it's too small relative to his body, so I plan on measuring it to see if it's in scale).

My only disappointment (and I have to work pretty hard to find anything I don't like) is that the red lights on his chest box and belt seem quite low-key, they're not quite red enough.

This is easily the centerpiece of my collection.  8)

For those of you still wanting to order the Darth Vader statue, it's available at StarWarsShop.com, shipping in November.

They also have the Han Solo in stock - I'm so tempted...

Hey, that's right.  It does say it's "in stock" under the picture.
