I'm still catching up with all my reading, so many thanks for pointing that out Dale!  I couldn't pass on this one.   Perhaps since I passed on Grievous, this would be my "other" bad guy (since I have Vader (and Obi-Wan)). 

Like you said Brent, we'll see if I keep it preordered or decide to get a Grievous down the road.

Man I'l tell ya, I give both you credit for getting this Ultimate Boba. Wish I could but I have to pass on him. I'm happy with Grievous but I can't go any further.  :'(

Again I won't be getting an exclusive as in the U.K shipping costs would cripple me, but on this one I really don't feel like I'm missing out at all.
I'll most definitely be picking a regular one up..... and to think I considered stopping collecting this line.

No, I think the 12" will definitely still be released.  Totally different market niche really. 

Much as I love the Sideshow stuff, the price is pretty drastically different from the Gentle Giant stuff.  You can have a Gentle Giant statue for about $160 shipped right now versus the $350 for this piece.  I know these are nicer and less "statuesque" but that near $200 price difference buys a lot of salami.

I don't think we'll see a Sideshow 12" Boba for awhile now being that Medicom just announced their $175-200 12" figure.

I think the same logic can be applied to Vader and OT stormtrooper.

Why would SS skip these three pivotal characters in favor of a 12" Jabba?

Has anyone in th e U.S recieved there Leia yet? or shipping confirmations?
I have a few customers who have placed deposits and are waiting for them to arrive and I havent heard anything yet :-\ I was told they wee to be expected in July.
