I couldn't find it at Movie Trading Company or Best Buy - I'll be trying a few more MTC's tomorrow.

What did you pay for it so I'll know what to aim for?

The Gladiator 3 disc is sweet.  We watched it last night.  The price was a bit high.  The cheapest I have seen is around $25.

If you've got a Fry's in your area, they were only charging $22.99 for Gladiator.

did you guys sell or give away your other copy of gladiator?  the constant upgrading of dvds pisses me off.  they should do the best version they can the 1st time.

Im holding off on getting rid of it for now.  I could be mistaken, but the original 2-disc version may have some deleted scenes that were not included in the recut.  Plus the original 2-disc is in DTS.  So having both sets is the ultimate 5 disc version til the Blu Ray comes out in the future.

Anyone see the new Swamp Thing DVD around?  It was supposed to come out today, but no stores around me received it...

$24.99 at Suncoast, which seems to be the only place to carry Tartan Asia Extreme films for sale. They had the 2 Argento DVD's as well. I just had to suck it up.

I think there were 2 or 3 "Gladiator" discs before this 3 disc set. I ahd the DTS Signature Series 2 disc, and got $4 for it at GameStop.  ::)

I'm anxious to take a look at the new, and hopefuly definitive version, this week.

The new "Swamp Thing" DVD is supposed to drop 9/20 according to DavisDVD.

That's weird...all other sites, including Amazon.com which DavisDVD links to, has it coming out today.  Amazon has it as "Ships in 24 Hours."  Strange.

Anyone know which version of the Deer Hunter is coming out ?  Is it a longer cut?  One of the most disturbing movies I have ever seen, but still love.

Hey for anyone whose interested, I watched the V original Mini-Series DVD with commentary which was awsome! At the end, Kenneth Johnson (the show creator, writer and director) gives out his e-mail address - and it works. He wrote me back and it was definately not a from e-mail.
