Way to go!  I know how hard it is to get started, and how it's even harder to keep up the momentum.  Keep writing, keep thinking, keep asking questions , keep generating ideas and...stay on target!

I hope someday to join the ranks of you and speedermike. I've been in Russia for about a month on vacation and have nailed about 110 pages so far in a current work! Yea for progress!

Darby...I've been meaning to post here for a couple of weeks as I finished Elizabeth.  I have to say that it was a really good read.  Cool concept and a really cool blend of Sci-Fi and History.  Not sure if you ever read Crichton's Timeline but I kept thinking of that in reverse while reading (with a little Firefly and Blade Runner thrown in).

I also liked the SW Easter Egg ;)  Well done!
