I dunno if that would work Jeff, she may someday figure out that the two you mentioned are Canadian and she may write it off as insanity due to location and you'll be right back in the dog house.

OK, with a little help from Pete on some prices, I tallied up all my anticipated 4/2 ROTS purchases, including the stuff I've found early, and I've come up with a new grand total of $1,033.51.  Ouch.  :-X

Breaks down like this:

  • 41 figures carded, 41 figures loose x $4.99 + 8.25% sales tax = $442.80
  • 4 deluxe figures carded, 4 deluxe figures loose x $9.99 + 8.25% sales tax = $86.51
  • 2 Large Vehicles Open, 1 Mustafar Playset Open x $29.99 + 8.25% sales tax = $97.39
  • 3 Small Vehicles MIB, 3 Small Vehicles Open x $14.99 + 8.25% sales tax = $97.36
  • 3 Battle Arenas MIB, 3 Battle Arenas Open x $19.99 + 8.25% sales tax = $129.84
  • 4 Assault Vehicles Open x $19.99 + 8.25% sales tax = $86.56
  • 2 Target Lava Vaders x $12.99 + 8.25% sales tax = $28.12
  • 2 WalMart Early Bird Sets x $29.99 + 8.25% sales tax = $64.93
  • 2 Holo Yodas x $0 + 8.25% sales tax = $0

 :o

Boy, Patty's gonna be pissed.

So far, I've already knocked about $350 off that total on early leaks, so I'm looking at dropping about $680ish tonight...  :-\

So far only $325.00 since Master Replica doesn't charge your card until the items ship.  I have to go back to Target tomorrow and plan on picking up the board games then and probably a few more figures and such.

PS: I really hope people at work aren't sick of M&M's.  I have a lot of wrappers to collect :).

Holy Matt, I'm proud of you.  8)

Break it to Patty gently, buy her some roses and take her out, might work.  :-\  :-X

I have done my tally and spent $486.77 US thus far.

Some observations from my trip to a local Walmart and Target this morning...

* Free Attackix figure at the tent at Walmart
* Though by the time I got to walmart the pickings were slim, they had a pallet full of cases in the garden section. The people there gave me free range to open up the cases and have a look inside. I opened like 10 different figure cases, they only contained up to the first 26 figures.
* Walmart only had the blue Royal Guard, Target only had the red Royal Guard. Quirky eh?
* Target was doing $1.00 off each item at the register, as the cashier would scan a coupon she had for each SW item bought. So if you didn't get that $1 off coupon in the mail, head on over to Target, I believe they're only doing this on Saturday.

Got a total of 14 figures and the ARC-170, way more than I intended, but some of this stuff just rocks!

More thoughts later, the Illini game is coming on soon...

I guess I wasn't lucky then since the Chino Target didn't have a scan card at the checkout line.  THis place suck with handling the Lave Vader too.  We got the coupons at like 740 or so I thought they were suppose to hand them out at 630.  At least I got one.

I'll tally here in a little while...the first girl I went to at Target this morning was going to take my dollar off coupon ::)  I said, well I want to keep this, so take off the discount. She then said, OK, you can keep it :-\

How much??
I'm reading these posts all over of people buying this stuff and it's scaring me.
How much did you guys spend over the weekend??
Go on humour me.
Me i stayed strong and only got 2 red guards for trade thats it.
The stuff didn't do anything for me figure wise , but i have to say walking into a store and seeing starwars like that was really good, and seeing kids getting stuff was even better.
So anyway i spent a measly $26 Aus ( figs were $12.99 at target )
What about you??
The problem with America is stupidity I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself

$259.08

It would have been $165 dollars more, but I returned army builders today realizing that I got too caught up in the hype.

I used that money towards my two boys adopting our first family puppy!

Nice, a puppy.  The gift that keeps costing money :P

Well, for today I only picked up four basic figures and one deluxe.  Sadly that ran $62 CAD ::) or about $48 USD.

Last night I ordered four blue guards from TRU.com for $26ish delivered.  Now tell me again why I buy anything in Canada ::)

For the entire release, including what I bought previously it worked out like this:

III-01 Obi-Wan Kenobi x1
III-02 Anakin Skywalker x1
III-05 Chewbacca x1
III-06 Clone Trooper x5
III-09 General Grevious x1
III-10 Mace Windu x1
III-11 Darth Vader x1
III-12 Emperor Palpatine x1
III-14 Chancellor Palpatine x1
III-18 C-3PO x1
III-20 Agen Kolar x1
III-23 Royal Guard x 10 (6 blue, 4 red)
III-25 Tarfful x1
III-37 Tri Droid (Medical Droid) x1
III-39 Polis Massan x1
III-40 Mas Amedda x1

Boga with Obi x1
BARC with pilot x1
Deluxe Anakin/Vader x1

So, 29 regular figures, 1 deluxe, 2 vehicles.  Around $140 based on US pricing, a little more with crappy Canadian prices.

Got 12 free figure boxes from TRU though, that was nice.

So far $31.91 ($14.99 AT-RT, $9.99 Holo Yoda, $4.99 Quickdraw Clone, plus tax).

Then $15.94 of 2002 Saga that I happened upon.
