Yeah, it was very sad news this morning.

He has 4 or 5 concerts scheduled for the next week (and many more beyond). I wonder if the shows will go on?

Yeah, after reading this I felt pretty bad for Al and his family.  He always seems like such a nice guy, and an accidental death's always tragic.

Hey Kailos, welcome to JediDefender!  There's indeed some Weird Al fans in the house, first and foremost would probably be JoshEEE, who has actually performed on stage with him.  Of course, that's 'cause Al's one of my company's clients and I hooked Josh up with him.   8)

I'll see if I can find our Weird Al thread somewhere in this forum, and merge your post into it, so you can enjoy the rest of our prior conversation on it, along with some awesome pix of Josh and Weird Al...

I don't know too many of his songs, but The Saga Begins is just SO funny!

"But their respone, it didn't thrill us....they locked the doors and tried to kill us"  ;D

I know it's pretty lame to post in a thread like this when you only know one of the guy's famous tracks, but there you go....I just think that song so great.

It's a shame that it's several times more entertaining than the movie itself  ::)

Hey Kailos,

My first Casette I ever bought, I swear, was Weird Al Yankovich's "Dare to be Stupid".  Been a fan ever since!

I have seen him in concert when he's at Pittsburgh...  One of the truly great artists of our time, though many would disagree.  I think they can't see past the humor to see the incredibly intelligent, talented, musician that Weird Al actually is.

I hope go this September to the states, the ticket costs a lot, from my island i have to take 2 planes, one to go to Spain (2:30h) and another to go to Miami (9:00h), its a long way and very expensive.

Someone please give me 800 bucks plz xDDD
