Chat last night was weird, what with people getting kicked off and coming back as "guests" because they were technically already logged in. Things got out of hand, I got confused, Virex got confused, it wasnt' pretty. My head imploded from the strain, but nobody noticed.

I'm really sorry for that terrible chat room. The service is quite unreliable and I am looking for a chat client that I can put on our JediDefender server. Thanks for your patience. :)

I seriously think it would be best if everyone just used their forum usernames.  I had no idea who was who, and it's hard enough trying to remember who everyone is anyway.

That's just my $0.02.

I know that you'd prefer that everyone use their real names, dustrho, and even though I personally will never use a name other than my own, there are quite a few people who get a kick out of doing so. And it doesn't bother me too much, until there are four or five people in there who are using other monikers for themselves. THAT is when it can get really confusing (unless those people have identified themselves). The only way to combat this problem would be to have a secure chat client in which you would have to log in under your forum name, which is an option, depending on what Chris can find as far as new chat clients go.

I apologize Chris.  Normally, I either go with my usual username or the replacement name from the space where "I'm a llama" used to be.  Just being goofy last night since everyone else in there was too.

Sincerely,
Peg

Well, I doubt I confused things too much, as my tag was "Fourpeat" throughout the evening.  Pretty easy to figure that one out for most everyone, I'm sure...   ;D

But yeah, between those knucklehead folks up north in Canada and Minnesota, two in particular, it was tough keeping track of things kinda.

Still wondering who "Jake" was, hanging out and "pulling a Jeff" on us...    ;)   :P

Heck, even Goku made an appearance, though I think it was an imposter, and not the real Goku that we all know and love...

I'm in chat now, all by myself, and I'm giving out puppies and kittens to the first three people that show up!  :-*

Well poo.  I'd love to join ya' Carrie, but I've gotta head home from the office and watch a video with the Mrs., who I'm trying to reacquaint myself with after a mind-numbing 80 hour work week...  Maybe I'll pop in after the movie in a few hours, if you're still around...

No ifs, ands, or buts about it:  You're spending the night with. . .  Fred Garvin, Male Prostitute.

Ladies and gentlemen, Dabney (presumably Coleman) is in the chat at this very minute, as we speak.

He's discussing his roles in "9 to 5", as well as "Cloak and Dagger".  "Buffalo Bill" questions are off limits, I'm afraid.

Stop in and say hi!

Word has it that rock star Axl Bundy, of "Shoes N' Socks", is currently hanging out in the chat room.
