Got my C3 pass/lanyard dealie in the mail yesterday, along with the Hyperspace/Fan Club necklace (necklace?), and my Vader topper.  Good deal.  I'm ready to rock 'n' roll!

But it's the last Star Wars Celebration (most likely) and I want to go!!!  Someone tell me it will be ok please!  :)

It'll be OK, Brian.   :-*

That help?   :P

Yes, indeed it did!  3 or 4 - can't recall now.  Forgot to mention that!   :P

Hopefully I will get my pass and other stuff okay today or tommorrow.   I think I got my Ep3 Movie Proster today in the mail kinda of wish it was my pass through so I can see if everything is okay with my order since its seems like some people have been getting screwed by GenCon with their orders.

Matt, did your passes show up via FedEx, UPS or USPS?

They were in a small bubble-wrap white envelope, stuffed into our mailbox.  So I guess that means regular USPS...

Crap...mine will literally be stuffed into our mailbox then.  Of course, they will come during the snowstorm, while I am work and the postal lady will have too hard of time closing the flap so I am sure it will be a mess when I finally get to them.

Just a reminder since the passes are shipping now...

So, those of us who ARE in the Fan Club can try to help some of those who are NOT in the Fan Club with the passes.

Good thinking Jeff.  I was starting to get a little bummed that a few of our pals (and roommates) might get stuck in an entirely seperate line.  It's gonna be tough enough spending a couple hours in line to get in, so the more, the merrier!

Those of you who get the Fan Club "Friends and Family" tickets and don't need them, please donate them to the JD.com "Help a Brother Out" foundation.  Either myself or J-MAC will gladly accept your buddy tickets to re-distribute to the JD.com faithful.

So, send me (or JediMAC) a PM if you are:

A.  interested in giving up your extra "Friends and Family" tickets to JD.com
or
B.  interested in receiving Fan Club "Friends and Family" tickets from a JD member

Thanks!

Damn kids and their short attention spans...  ::)

Quote
Official Star Wars Fan Club members who purchase 4-day badges for Celebration III during the pre-registration period online will receive 4 Friends & Family passes that they can use to share some member benefits with non-members.

Benefits include:
1) entrance to the Convention Center during the "fan club only" hour before the center opens to the rest of the public. Once inside the center members can enter anything that is open during the special hour with no additional identification
2) Entrance into the Fan Club Lounge
3) One access to other Fan Club benefits if any are announced.

That's what they are.  A way to get non-Fan Club Members into Fan Club "events".  Of course, so far the only "events" they've announced are the lounge and getting in early...

So what your saying is, you get your convention passes, and obtain one of these, and you get into the con an hour early?

Makes sense I suppose.

I'm trying to work out details. my brother-in-law has an apt in Louisville KY, which is only a 2 hour drive from Indy. But I still have to find cheap airfair from NC to KY :P
Here's hoping I make it :-\

Your darn right there's no backing out.

I still need to get my hotel reservations switched back over to my name, and also get my pass ordered up so I can go pick it up at 'will call'.

Indy or bust!

I may be seeing you on that flight.  If it's NWA flight 498, leaving at 10:14am and arriving at 11:47am in Indy.

Ironic that this is in the Pet Peeves thread, eh?

 ;D

So which flight did you end up getting?

Or are you too yellow to tell me, boy? [/western drawl]   ;D
