Anyone in for a lightsaber tournament of sorts? You know with those cheap ones you can get from wal-mart?

Buddy, if I show up, you'll regret that comment.

I am quite famous for my technique. I use Darth Mauls saber, and a spare purple one.

I am quite good for some one who has no better thing to do with their spare time but to learn how to fight with a staff and a sword.

Kevin
Means I'm going to beat him in a lightsaber match. :)

well, hey thanks for the info Andrew.  I am gonna book my hotel now!  The Crowne Plaza Hotel - seems pretty interesting for 2 people it is $87.00 per night, and a total of $348.00 it says through Government rate whatever that is?  But that seems good right.

In response to the question posed by JediMac in the split thread...

I'd say proximity this time is above cost.Proximity within reason, though.Because, some of the hotles are very expensive, around two hundred a night and for five nights,no thanks. However, something that's still downtown and is not that far away from the convention center(5-10 blocks) could be more managable, since the rates are only about $115 a night.
Another reason for wanting proximity to the convention center is because most of the fun will be happening there and should I need to get back to the hotle for any reason.Or,in being down town, you can't be to far away from some sort of fast food(as opposed to the outragous lines at the cons and overpriced food)So,I'd say in this rare case I'm throwing caution to the win when it comes to cash.
