I have a strong feeling that if Amy Allen is there, she will be swarmed by millions of fans.  I am surprised.  Why is she liked by so many and Mary Oyaya = Luminara Unduli and Nalini Krishan = Barriss Offee or even Orli Shoshan = Shaak Ti has not had such success like this female?

We've got two Celebration 3 threads in our new Convention Forum here, so I'm just gonna merge 'em up!

So has anyone actually made their hotel reservations yet?

Matt, I think it still kind of early to make reservations since I heard the hotels will only allow youso many months in advance.
I'm planning on making the plans of my trip over the summer and getting hotel reservations then along with my flight.  I'm still hoping that after the Con I can take a side trip to DC and see the sights there for a few days.  That may change depenfing on money.

Yea, it is very early. You still cannot even get airflight reservations yet!  Not until April!  It has to be a full year, in order to get reservations.

I had saw this at the Jedi Defender home page, then went to the Star Wars official site, and this is what I am so excited about :

- Special sneak peaks into the future of Star Wars -.
This could mean anything?  Wonder what? 7,8,9?  Who knows?

But we also get an exclusive figure and lots more:

Star Wars Celebration III Logo Revealed
April 07, 2004

The new logo for Star Wars Celebration III harkens back to the patch that was originally designed for the cast and crew of The Empire Strikes Back. "Vader in Flames," as the design was called, was later modified and made available to members of the Official Star Wars Fan Club. As the emblem of Celebration III, the image speaks to the enduring nature of the Star Wars saga.

It seems like a long wait until Star Wars Celebration III opens its doors at the Indiana Convention Center April 21 - 24, 2005, but it's not too early to start anticipating what looks to be the biggest Star Wars fan event to date.

As the summer progresses, look for news and details in the Community section of www.starwars.com,and at the official Celebration III website: www.starwarscelebration.com.

We can't give away too many surprises yet, but here's what we can tell you now. Celebration III should feature more Star Wars events, exclusives, and festivities than fans will find anyplace else:

- Stars from the casts of all six Star Wars films.
- Magic-makers from the film crews.
- Special sneak peaks into the future of Star Wars.
- Treasures from the Lucasfilm archives - props and costumes and more.
- A variety of unique Star Wars entertainment brought together under one roof.
- More fan events, more fan creations, and more fan involvement than ever before.
- New Celebration III merchandise including an exclusive action figure available nowhere else.
- Improved Fan Club benefits - for members from all over the world.

Look for more news, as well as information on hotels and tickets, coming later this summer on www.starwars.com, and www.starwarscelebration.com.

Why is this here?

Do we not have a "conventions" section?

Since I moved most of these threads in here from elsewhere when we created this new Convention Forum, it's hella possible that Mainland had already posted in some of these threads before they were moved in here...   ;)

Or, it might be like you said...   :P

Another hella exclusive figure for C3.  Ugh.   :-\
