To let you all know, that rate was for a room with 3 people, 2 twin sized beds, and no smoking.

They also had several room options at that rate.

This is probably the dumbest question in the thread yet, but how does one gain admission to C3? Do you buy tickets ahead of time, and if so, where do you buy them? Ticketmaster.com?

Thanks.

Please not sws.com...I have read all of your misdealings with that dreadful store, and I am fearful of any transactions with them.

So afraid I may just pay 99.99 for a RotS shirt. :-\

For  C2 you could order the tickets from the fan club, which is now SWS.  Hopefully they will end up fixing they shipping department and shop before they start selling the tickets.

Kevin

You don't have to join the fan club to get the passes, sorry if my post sound that way.  The old fan club/online store had them for general sell before the convention.  FOr a three day pass I think it was $75.
The only thing that a fan club member got that was different then non members was a fan club layard (thing that goes around neck to hold pass).  With that you got the chance to be in a much shorter line, in early for the convention, and into a section where you could set and relax a little.

The latest I've been hearing is that the tickets and all the hotel package info. will be released sometime in Sept.(I heard late August floating around San Diego) but I have a feeling it will all coincide with a big SW.com/hyperspace/Insider Mag blitz.

I'm guessing tix. will be avail. for order online shopsw.com Tix. for CII ran about $75.(prob. slightly higher for CIII since another day has been added this time)

There are supposed to be blocks of Hotel rooms that Lucasfilm and/or Gencon have reserved that will probably be sold as package deals and/or "special" rates.

You can book your room on an individual basis right now and I suggest doing so (you can always cancel if a better deal arises) I grabbed a room months ago just to make sure I had one fairly close, as CII most sold out and was tricky finding anything within a few blocks of the convention center.

I kinda lucked out, I'm a diamond VIP member with the Hilton chains so I was able to grab a suite at the Hampton Inn for only $134/night!!!!!!

Kitchen, living room, bar, refrig, 2 bedrooms, jacuzzi, the works !!! ;^)

Star Wars and toy Collector since 1978(age 7).  currently over 6,500 SW items in my personal collection. Collect modern/vintage and everything in-between ;^)

I'm at the Hampton Inn where Bob's staying too.  I was able to book a room smewhere between the minimum time they allow it at HI for you to book rooms in adavnce, and the point when LFL/whoever blocked reservations by taking up all kinda space at hotels near the convention center.

I unfrtunatelyt hink I get in on Thursday, not Wednesday like most of who I know of are doing.  That means I'm either cming out a day later, or perhaps getting my reservation bumped up a day?

Anyway, got a nice room I guess, right there...  I'll be seeing whoever I can, dependant upon my commitments at the show with FFURG, and of course here with JD.com.

Just trying to make this a good time!

Let me know anyone!
