Models..anyone notice this similarity??

IIRC, there was also a very uncanny resemblance between the Grievous Wheelbike, and some GI Joe's toy from the 80's as well.

Considering the timing between those two movies though, I'd be surprised if there was any correlation between the two, as they were likely both being planned and designed right around the same time probably.  Who knows, though...

The Corporate Alliance droid (the second pic) was originally created for AOTC, but ended up on the cutting room floor. However it did appear in several EU sources, including but not limited to the New Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels.

So unless my estimate of Robots' production schedule is way off, the GL droid was first.
