OK. I'm not into Basketball that much but have you seen this!   :o

Kidd signs six-year, $103 million deal with Nets

Is that what they pay these guys now to play?

I was excited about this, really excited until I thought of these two things:

We have way to many scorers and shooters now with KG, Wally, Cassell and Sprewell all wanting the ball

And Cassell and Spree haven't been exactly model citizens everywhere they have gone.

So the Wolves have:

PG: Cassell
SG: Wally
SF: Sprewell
C: Kandi-Man
PF: KG

Not bad, Hudson off the bench...they need a couple of mor ebig guys, Mark Madsen has been rumored as a possibility.  I was sorta dissapointed they had to trade Marc Jackson too though because I thought he was a good guy and did provide some depth.

This definitely puts the Wolves in top 4 territory with the Kings, Spurs and Lakers, ahead of the Mavs and Blazers for sure.  Should be a great year!  And I am really excited

That whole SA, Sacramento trade is total BS IMO, how in the hell did the Spurs get what they got for absolutely nothing.  Do other teams realize the Spurs did just win the Championship?

Uh-oh...  Check out the main page of ESPN.com right now...

ESPN has uncovered some main points in the prosecution's case against Kobe Bryant: The alleged victim sustained injuries that indicate their sexual encounter was not consensual, and Bryant intentionally misled authorities during questioning, sources familiar with the prosecution's case say.

That doesn't sound too good.

On another note, Scott - you guys just picked up Mad Dog (Mark Madsen) from us!  Nice grab!  You guys will love him, I'm sure, especially if he ever dances for you guys!   ;D

To replace him, the Lakers just signed Horace Grant (again).  Ugh.  Say what?!  Isn't this guy like 57 years old now?  Oh joy.  Nice pickup.   :-\

Team Geritol gets older!!!  I was pumped about Madsen who I thought was awesome pickup.  They also signed Fred Hoiberg to come off the bench.;  Still need another guard to come off the bench but this team has NBA Finals potential, especially with Kobe in the slammer for a few years

WTF is this trade?

The Dallas Mavericks finally made a major offseason move, acquiring Antawn Jamison in a nine-player trade with the Golden State Warriors.

The Mavericks also got guard Jiri Welsch and forwards Danny Fortson and Chris Mills from the Warriors for guards Nick Van Exel, Avery Johnson and Antoine Rigaudeau, center Evan Eschmeyer and forward Popeye Jones in the deal announced Monday.
