The Science of Star Wars

I came across this show tonight when I was flipping through the channels after 24 ended.  Discoverey Channel is doing a series of shows all week on a variety of subjects.  Tonight's focuses on robotics.

You can see all of the scheduled episodes here.
This is the way.

I have spoken.

Hey Matt, thanks man.  I am personally intrigued by the military episode on the 18th.  Gonna tape that I think if I can't catch it.

Appreciate the link for that, I didn't know that was on.

On Wednesday, Animal Planet is airing something about the animals that inspired the SW creatures. It runs at 9e/p; don't know what time that is for the 'tweeners.

Thanks for the heads-up about this. Pretty neat show, even if the connection to Star Wars was a little tenuous at times, at least for the Robotics one.

This was pretty weak. I saw the one about Droids and robotics. I didn't see the SW connection in any of the segments. I thought the show would be more of a visual dictionary-esque kind of expanded universe look at the characters and all internal parts, etc.

I did like the Tony Daniels/C-3PO routine. "Sorry, droids only!".
