I didn't mind seeing Biffle get the win this weekend. I just wish Jeff Gordon had had a better finish. If it wasn't for that near wreck at the very end, he would have been well inside the top ten. Good to see Kyle's bonus points vanish like a thief in the night.  :D

It's good to see Jeff Gordon back on the pole. With that speed, he may have a shot at his first win in a long time. I'm starting to get a little tired of him blaming the car, since they've had as long as anyone to figure it out.

I'm hoping for the win tomorrow!

go 24

7th! What the Hello Kitty!
Yet he still moves up 3 spots in the Cup standings. I wonder if he can win the Cup without ever winning a race. Hmmmmm.

It's certainly possible, but others will have to falter.

Thank God he finally won again. A few more and he can move into third place all time.

i thought he was one win from tying for fourth.  How much of a gap is there to third place all time?

He'll get there eventually ... and I still think he has an outside shot at second place, if he drives long enough.  Of course, Petty's 200 wins is pretty much untouchable.

Gordon currently has 82 wins and is in 6th place.  Cale Yarborough is in 5th place with 83 wins.  Bobby Allison and Darrell Waltrip are tied for 3rd with 84 wins each.  Then you have David Pearson in 2nd with 105 wins and The King in 1st with 200 wins.

Yeah, Jeff will certainly take sole possession of 3rd place all time. I don't know if he'll race long enough to reach Pearson though. I'd like to think yes, but each year he talks more and more about retiring. Only time will tell!

Jeff Gordon Extends his #1 spot with his first win in a long time. I was starting to wonder if he could still win the Sprint Cup just by coming in 2nd all year long.

It was great to see the win come in Texas as well. Good news for Steve too. I bet a friend that his 3rd win will come in Sonoma. I'll be there watching. ;D (I'm not coutning the shootout. I mean there will be at least one more before Sonoma.)

Joey Logano beats Kyle Busch for the win at Nashville. Nice to see someone else win in the Nationwide Series besides Kyle.  :P

Mark Martin wins at Phoenix and breaks his 97 race win-less streak!

Rough day in the pits for Jeff Gordon. They left a lug loose and went a lap down to finish 25th.  :-[

Still leading by 85 points over Johnson though.
