Holy **** this was funny right off the bat...

Shatner's "My Way" was just phenomenal, and the Stormtroopers just made that great.  I think deep downt hat Lucas is the nerd we all are...

This is a good little program.

That was a pretty cool show, and yeah, surprisingly, Shatner's opening bit was very funny!  I liked that a lot of parts were almost like a Celebrity Roast (especially from the SW OT players).  Good stuff, and well deserved for George.  #37, I think, on the AFI Lifetime Award induction list.

I taped the thing too, but missed about the first 15 seconds.  I don't have a dual deck VCR though, so I wouldn't know how to make anyone copies...

Damn it.  I missed this last night I believe.  Oh well, maybe Lucas will put it on the grand 6 DVD set someday.  LOL!

Well looky, looky. The AFI Lifetime Achievement Award show for George Lucas is on TV tonight up here on our Space: The Imagination Station. I didn't think we were ever going to get it up here.

This will air at 9pm ET and repeat at 1am ET.

So you Canuckleheads that have not seen this, set the VCR.

I received a copy from Matt awhile back and it worth it, especially the part with Shatner's rendition of "My Way".

Looks like Harrison had a bit too much to drink.  ;D

Even though his new movies are swill, the man does deserve some recognition for his most courageous ability to make love to Linda Ronstadt.
