What was the prop that was used from 2001 A Space Odyssey that was in Watto's junkyard?    :-*

Re: Trivia: EU

There may be two answers to this question, depending on what level of EU you follow, I'll go with what I think is the likely answer first:

The Emperor's son is Irek Ismaren, from the Children of the Jedi novel. Irek was the son of Roganda Ismaren, one of the Emperor's Hands, and if I recall correctly Irek was also a potential Force user.

Harrison Ford also had a small role in Apocolyps Now, Air FOrce One,Reguarding Henry, What Lies Beneath, The Fugative,......

He also had a substantial role in Force 10 From Navarone. And I can't believe no one mentioned Blade Runner :)

And I can't believe no one's mentioned Harrison in Lucas' famous flick that paved the way for the entire Star Wars franchise - American Graffiti!

On an odd side note related to that, I was shopping at my local KB toy store earlier this year, and McKenzie Philips who also co-starred in that movie, was in there with her son, who's about 16 years old, I'd guess.  He was checking out the SW figures with me, and I asked if McKenzie was his mom.  When he said yeah, I asked him if he realized that his mom played a rather indirect and small roll in actually putting those very Star Wars figures in front of our eyes, due to her participation in AG.  He said he very much understood that.  Nice kid, we chatted for several minutes, while his mom waited by the door having a smoke...

My celebrity siting for that week...   :P

One of Billy Dee Williams most famous roles was in Lady Sings the Blues, with that crazy drunk - Diana Ross...

Ah yes, Corvette Summer...  I remember it well, though not necessarily fondly.  But fortunately, Corvettes have always been my favorite car, so Mark Hamill gets a few bonus points for that!

Little known fact - Mark also appeared for a year or so in the early 70's on the soap opera General Hospital.   :-\

Carrie Fisher was in a whole bunch of other movies as well:  When Harry Met Sally, Loverboy, Drop Dead Fred, and Under the Rainbow, among others...
