I got the idea from CorranHorn's analogous thread in the Vintage forum. Obviously this is a question for us younger collectors.
I think I still have all the toys I had as a kid. Somewhat arbitrarily I'm going to declare "pre-2000" as my "childhood" period. I've been accumulating (it wasn't really "collecting" at first) SW toys pretty much continuously since 1995 or 6, so it's hard to pin down an exact cutoff point--not like the people who stopped and then resumed many years later.
I was 13 when TPM came out, somewhere around when I stopped seriously playing with the SW toys. To be sure, I still open them and mess with the action features and have supercool lightsaber battles between Mace Windu and Darth Vader, but it just ain't the same anymore.
Plus I picked up some neat loot in the mythic Great Toys R Us Purge of 2000. I will count those as well since mentally they're pretty tough to extricate from the others.
Anyway, here we go:Orange card series
Boba Fett (my first SW action figure actually)
C-3PO (was later painted silver to replicate the Cloud City "Go shove it" droid.
Luke Skywalker (Jedi Knight)
