I'm an Action Fleet collector (AF is cancelled as you may already know) and the Star Wars Tranformers were some kind of a hope for me. Unfortunately they weren't as I hoped, excepting the TF ARC-170 which is just amazing. Seeing the CW ARC-170 made me happy and I think I'll try getting this as well.

Yeah, I agree.  The Mace ... blah, but the other 2 new vehicles look very cool and interesting.  I hope they look decent in robot mode also.

If anyone's interested, they also show a picture of a new Deluxe TF Darth Vader that transforms into the Death Star.

Here's a better look at the Vader / Death Star Transformer - he looks pretty good in robot form.

I wonder if this is the first time soft goods apparel (cape) has been introduced with any transformer.  I'm not sure if I like it's deluxe price tag, but DV/DS does look cool.  The other transformers look interesting as well.  Wish there was a picture of the turbo tank transformer in vehicle mode.

I think packaging it in its Falcon form makes a lot more sense, it simply looks better in its ship form than as the 2 figures.

Got the Death Star/Vader Transformer this evening, and I like it a lot.  I can now go bowling with it.  It took me a while to convert it from Vader to the DS.  The electronic lights and sounds go together well, and the saber and super laser projectile light up very nicely.  The cape, minifigs, and miniTIEs are cool although the wings on the miniTIEs come off pretty easy.  Haven't tried changing it back to DV mode yet; it took me a while to get it into a ball, so I'll just admire the DS on the built in stands for now.

There were a ton of these around before Christmas at my local TRU, but they managed to sell them all out.  I was interested in it because of it's huge size, but just couldn't pull the trigger at $70.

Vader's Tie - white
Snowspeeder - battle damaged
AT-AT - shadow
Turbo Tank - white
Gunship - black deco (2nd 3 3/4 release)
Starfighter - maroon?  (I'm colorblind)

Oh...I picked up the Death StarFormer this morning at Target for $11.61.  Not a bad deal considering I haven't seen this thing since it first came out.
