I thought the Green Lantern fans would get a kick out of this custom.  The best part is the green donut included.  ;)

Here's a new one for your collection Jeff, coming from DC Direct on July 19, 2006 (tenatively anyways).  It supposedly really lights up too!  Kind of neat.

Some new GL stuff coming from DC Direct in 2006 (later).  Just thought I'd share these for Jeff's sake.   You can see them via this link or at DC Direct.  Green Lantern: Series 2 - Manhunter Robot, Guy Gardner, Shark, Salaak, Sinestro.

I saw those earlier today.  Man, a couple of those are must-haves.  I can probably pass on the "new" Guy since I have the classic "bowl-cut" version, but the Sinestro/GL figure and the Salaak are must-haves!   8)

In other GL news, I picked up this set at Target over the weekend!

$10 for 3 GL figures is a great deal!  Also of note, they feature the 2006 "DC SuperHeroes" branding on the packaging...

Nice to hear those new JL figures are showing up, hopefully our Target will have them as well sometime soon.  I definitely want to pick up the set with Luthor (and other "Injustice Gang"), probably the "Justice Lords" pack, and possibly the Lantern one as well.  I agree, 3 figures for $10 is a good deal to me too.

Action Figure Insider has pics of a potential "holy grail" for Green Lantern collectors, a "gift exclusive" JLU Hal Jordan figure.  You can learn more about it (and see pics)HERE.  Sounds like there is only 100 made, given as gifts to people at Warner Bros. Animated, DC Comics, and Mattel.  Many a frustrated collector over this figure I'm guessing.

I saw that picture.  It sucks if they really did destroy that head mold and have no intention of ever releasing it to the masses.  Another case of Mattel saying "SCREW YOU" to it's customers.  I wish they would go out of business.

Looks like another Green Lantern 3 pack is on the way this year in the JLU line, including Kyle Rayner, Arkiss Chummuck, and Katma Tui.  Also, a "Justice Lords" Green Lantern will be available in another 3 pack.  Pics of everything at Action Figure Insider.

Bah!  That 3-pack angers me.  Everyone knows that the "real" Katma Tui is pink like Sinestro, not that JLU Cartoon abomination.   >:(

I guess maybe I'll have to buy that pack and then just ditch the fake Katma figure... just bugs me that they changed her look so much for the cartoon.   :-\

It's called "affirmative action" even the JL has to abide by it  :P

I found these "press pics" of the JLU figures HERE, and Katma Tui does look a little bit different...so who knows how the release will be.

It's a replica. Only the real deal will do for Jeff.
