Well, if those are a sign of things to come, I do believe my LOTR spending will be severly limited in 2005.

Found another Hama today.  Whole new set put out at TRU, but no luck with Peter Jackson this time.  Someone seems to be building an army with Orc Captain's though ???  There is an ebay seller from Winnipeg that specializes in Barbie's that seems to be branching out though, she had a boat load of Peter Jackson figures up.

It could be that Orc Captain is not in the Canuckian cases

It pretty much has to be.  I've been there at the right time enough to find two Peter Jackson figs, so that must be the case.  Until I see a box being unloaded though, I'll be curious.

BTW, thanks for rejecting that Gates Sam.  I decided to keep him and pick up the super poseable Frodo so I'm up to two hobbitses now.  Sam in armor will have to go back (talking version) unless someone wants him.

Down to needing Legolas, Merry, Pippen and Bilbo to be done.

BTW, I tried seeing if I can return that accursedly ugly Aragorn you sent me, but it doesn't scan in anywhere.  Damn you ;)

Haldir?  That has to be a misprint.  I would think that it might be Isildur, not Haldir.

Damn, them's a lot of boxed sets.

I really don't think this line has the shelf space necessary for all those.
But, it might be interesting to see if it's true.

I got those figures from ebay today- Denethor, Citadel Guard, Shagrat, Theodred, Smeagol Stoor Fisherman, and Gorbag.

Stopping at TRU yesterday, they officially don't even have pegs for LOTR figures anymore.  They have a few odd, older box sets laying here and there, but without shelf tags.  Looks like they are totally out of the LOTR biz at our local store.  Wal-Mart had full pegs, but filled with older Trilogy figures.  No big deal, I'm basically just waiting for Gates of Mordor Sam to be in stock at Amazon, and then I think I'll wrap up this line.  It will be interesting to see what the next year(s) bring for this line, how much longer it can stick around.

I'm behind something like 20 or so figs on this one.  I never saw any FOTR TTT or ROTK from wave 3 forward.  Sigh.  I don't know whether just to throw it in or not.  And you out that with no ML... well, it's too much I think.

Orc Captain and Theodred shipped from Amazon today :)  The Pre-Order worked!

I'm officially caught up as well and thanks Brent.  You can return or keep or let someone else have Theodred

 >:(

I tell ya, TRU is beginning to hate me and my returns.  Bad enough they mistake me for a hot wheels collector... :-X

They look pretty neat, though I'll be skipping that Aragorn and Frodo. That same Frodo is the one that's killing the retail situation here. How dare they repack it. >:(

What's up with Frodo's feet?  Step in a box of old Christmas oranges or something? ???

Assuming I can find any of these, I'll be getting most of them.  It's about time for that HD Uruk Hai.
