The repacks are very disappointing, particularly Arwen, and WHERE IS BOROMIR?  And wasn't Frodo supposed to be 'NEW'?  Sigh.  I'll only be collecting new figs from now on, for as long as they last.

The only change appears to be Gandalf is whiter.  Wow.

Beer is good, especially the stuff you Canuckians get.  Its not like the watered down **** most Americans drink.

This would explain why I'm drinking Steinlager right now :D

Actually, lots of good Canuckian beer, lots of good micro brews down south too.

I may keep Gandalf anyway, so no worries Mainland.

I'm going by theonering.net's gallery here, but I think it's Eomer. I bought the one with Frodo and Sam on front, and the back of my card was Gandalf the White.

My God, I cannot believe Toy Biz has the gall to repack Gollum and Smeagol. I am utterly speechless.

TB had better be hoping every person in the civilized world goes to see ROTK.

I was one of the folks who thought the repacks made sense, from the vantage point that there are lots of folks who came into the films and toys late.  They stop making sense when you see them, when you see there's no incentive (paint changes, new accessories) for collectors to buy them, and when many of these are already available at every KB in America.  I don't know what to think.

I'll buy Arwen and Bilbo for my carded collection, for sure, as well as a few PEWs, provided they aren't one-per-case again.

I have only just started collecting this line, so I’m quite pleased to see that Arwen is being re-released: the pack with the horse is very hard to find and is getting pretty expensive over here. I’m also glad that I’m not a carded collector – the rehashes are even worse than with the Star Wars Saga series.

Well, at least Arwen has her sword this time.

If you want to order some of these figures now for a fair on-line price try http://store.yahoo.com/cmdstore/lordofrings.html

I have never ordered from them but I have heard they are very good.
For those of you looking for me. I am now at www.sandtroopers.com
