You found a TW Frodo??!!  Man, you live in toy heaven don't you?  I'll take the extra Smeagol off your hands if you still have it.  Did you ever find another Arwen?
I've read that the new Eowyn is out and packed one per case.  Thanks for posting your finds.  You're the only one that's relatively close by so at least I know what might be hitting in and around Green Bay (Upper Michigan still is stuck on POTJ and wave 2 for LOTR >:( ).

I was over at The GD again and they had some pics of a red-packaged GImli and Boromir, both of whom Toy Biz stated would not be coming out. They were both found in Austrailia.

Methinks they're mere customs, due to both of these figures being produced again. But, the pictures aren't all that great, so it's hard to tell.

I'm hoping I can manage to find Eowyn. I did find the PEW and Galadriel, so my luck should hold.

Haven't found Smeagol yet, but I got the Helm's Deep set yesterday, and it looks so neat all boxed up I can't bring myself to open it.

I finally got around to opening my Helms set. Since the figures are basically the same I took out Hal to put in my shelf. The others I put on the side, well except for Gimli since he is somewhat different than the previous releases (No Cape).

Found some ROTK figures today. Eomer, Frodo, and Sam. There wasn't a repacked Aragorn there, but I have two of that figure anyway. I just need a carded one.

Still haven't found the Horse and Rider sets. I'm liking the Sharku and Warg set.

I'm probably going to pass on the new Eomer.  ASam and Frodo are another story, though.

I saw the new horse and rider sets listed over at Toymaniacs.  They had Aragorn & Brego, Ring Wraith and horse, but sold out on the warg and Sharku.

Scott, what do you think of Eomer and Frodo now that you have them in your hands?  It's hard to tell from the pictures if Eomer has a good head sculpt or not.

Can I hire you as my LOTR buyer?? :D ;) :)

I really like the look of both of them, haven't opened either one yet.  I was thinking about picking up an extra Eomer for you Beth but I didn't...maybe next time I see them ;)

I snagged the last Frodo :-*

Monday was LOTR day for me. I found the Helm's Deep set at TRU and ROTK Frodo, Sam, and Eowen at Target.

I love the Helm's Deep set. I waited patiently for that to come out and was careful not to buy single figures from that set, so it's a particular bargain for me. And the ROTK figures were a plus since I didn't even know they were out so soon.

My son has decided our Halloween display this year will have a LOTR theme. (Sorry Aliens; there's always next year.  :-* )
Post sober.

I saw Frodo, Sam and Eomer this morning.  I passed.  I needed to keep the cash in reserve for some Sports Picks at the Atlantic City show this week.

All my Targets are stocked with reduced price King Theos.  >:(

I asked about the new figures and one stocker told me not until Christmas. What a joke!
I think I will find them soon though.

Does anyone collect the Lord of the Rings figures from the late 70's??  They are sculpted after the feature length cartoon movie.

I'm looking for them.  The only thing I've picked up from the new movies is a 12" Gandalf when The Fellowship of the Ring came out.

You're talking about the ones from Knickerbocker, right?
I'm told they're almost worth their weight in gold.

MisterPL, was that Eomer or Eowyn you found?  Just curious...

ADC has some Wave 2 pics up including the Lovely Eowyn and Aragorn

Sounds like a lot of the ROTK line will be rehashes of the previous waves of FOTR and TTT which doesn't suprise me
