I saw him at TRU a bit but he's long gone now.  They were the only ones getting any LOTR in for a while it seemed.

I missed the Kings set and maybe the Elves one too.  I also missed the set that had Sauron, Elendil and someone else in it...  I forget.  I saw it and passed on it at the time because of money then went to get it for my bro and it was gone.  They had dozens too, literally, and they were all gone.

I did get him the battle troll set though, thankfully.  He'd wanted that.

I have one of those Uruks to part with. I have a thread in the trading forum of swag I'll trade it for.  :)

If this is the one you're still after, then nope, not too late at all.  I saw it about an hour ago, presumably it will be there tomorrow.  LMK if you still need it and your addy please.  It is a neat figure for sure.

I just got a chance to take a closer look at the pics they have of that Aragorn today while reading through the "Heroes of the Rebellion" announcement.  That looks like a heck of a figure, and could be a nice line for LOTR...especially with the ToyBiz line coming to an end.  Is anyone buying into this new line?

I hope so. I just need that last Orc and Eowyn to complete my LOTR collection.

But if the last waves of the various Star Wars lines has taught me anything, I'll never see them, while other areas will be swimming in them.

I need the Gondorian for my brother among a few other things.

He has turned to the SS 12" figures too already.  I'm hoping they're slightly less popular than SW so I can easily track them down for him as gifts at the holidays.  It'd make shopping tremendously easy copmared to past years.

Shieldmadien Eowyn and the Orc Lieut. from Mordor will not be arriving in the states. Your looking at around $30 to $40 per figure from online stores. On the 12 inch line, they are really nice figures but . . . . I think I am done with LOTR for now, though I might change my mind. Space is becoming an issue; that and I am having to put $800 into my car right now that was unexpected  :'(

Well, ain't that a bitch.

Eh. Guess I'm done with LOTR as it stands. I have Eowyn figures already, and plenty of Orcs, so I'm good.
