Anyone know of a good LOTR forum?
« Reply #225 on: October 12, 2003, 02:50 PM »
Howdy, I'm curious to know if anyone knows of a good Lord of the Rings message board. I'm interested in doing some cross trading for some LOTR stuff....and I'm hoping that maybe someoen there might want some MOTU items in exchange for LOTR......long shot I guess, but you never know.

Anyone hang out on a LOTR board? Or perhaps is anyone here interested in some carded modern MOTU??? LMK,THanks, Brian

Same thing happened to me TopJedi...this line had been calling to me ever since I first saw them, but I held out...until this year.  I picked up a Rohan Armor Legolas and a Smeagol so far, but I'd like to get some more.  I'll never have as much as I do Star Wars, and SW is always top priority with me collecting-wise, and I don't have the room anyways....but this line does have some mighty nice figures :).

Well reason i ask is, Entertainment Earth has posted on their site that in Janruary they are going to re-release The Fellowship of the Ring 6" Action Figure set, and it has Arwen, and Frodo (New), Elrond, etc..  So is it going to be a new sculpt or what.

I assume it's a new sculpt, but then assumption is the mother of all... you know.  I hope it is.

Yeah, I have Twilight Frodo. He was available on KBtoys.com a few weeks ago, and bunches of folks were able to score one form there.
As for seeing it a retail,   :D

I also got my Twilight Frodo from KB.   I don't expect to ever see this guy at retail.

I got my red card TTT Boromir from Amazon.com!!!   ;D

He came in the bundle with Gollum, Legolas HD, Theoden in Armor and Sam in Mordor.  I'm so happy, especially since Boromir is one of my favorite characters.  He comes with the a nice shiny new dagger and a new elven cloak.

Sweetness.

www.thegd.com is your best bet for all things LOTR. theonering.net has every conceivable piece of news regarding LOTR and the actors and crew in it. :)
