I think it's possible that list is legit.  A lot of those figures are headswaps or using pieces from previous figures, like:

Elendil / Isildur: King Aragorn body

Gil-Galad: PEW body and weapons

Theodred: Eomer body

Moria Archer: Moria Orc? or Orc Warrior?

It'd be great to finally get Isildur and Elendil. But then we're gonna want Prologue Gondor warriors, Prologue Orcs...blah.

Oh well. I'm glad to see some kind of Shelob coming out, and also Twilight Frodo, so I can have one to open.

Well, well, well. Target's decided that they're going to charge $6.99 for their Trilogy figures now. Must have lost their ass in the last two weeks, or realized how well they sold. Wal-Mart is still charging $4.96, though my local one hasn't had anything beyond that first case.

Way to go, Target. ::)

havent been to any of the stores lately, but i will go check them out.  Went to K-Mart yesterday and take back all the bad words about them i said, they had hella good stuff.  Trilogy FOTR Wave 2 all of them, and TT Wave 1, and they had some Crossbow Uruk-Hai, and Gandalf the Whites, and not to mention Star Wars toys too, they had Clone Wars Wave 3 & 2, and Saga Wave 15 there.  So go see what your K-Mart has cause mine just got some stuff in-stock.

Today I picked up the White Gandalf the White and Twilight Frodo at Meijers. The pegs show the price of $6.99 but the rang up $5.99. :)

So I hope the rumor of the Balrog is true.
For those of you looking for me. I am now at www.sandtroopers.com

I may actually complain to Target about price gouging.  The MSRP on these is $4.99, right?

It is, but remember when POTJ first debuted, and the price was supposed to drop a buck, and that didn't happen for a year?  It's gouging, but no one can tell them what to sell their wares at. Hopefully Wal-Mart comes to our rescue and stocks the freshest cases.

I need a Twilight Frodo.

I'll tell 'em!   ;)  Gougers...

In hopefully better news, arwen idolizer over at the lordoftheringsguide.com forums claims thusly:

now for really really big news:

"we will be getting a massive

28" inch fell beast!!!!
no lie. he said it. it is supposed to hit retail in the summer

and now for a big, boom bastic suprise.

a beautiful 5 pack gift pack of gondor. due out in july

will consist of all coronation outfits of:
aragorn
arwen
eowyn
eomer
and exclusive faramir!"

This comes from a TB CSR.  If it's true, and I have no reason to doubt the poster, I'll die of shock.

Whoa, need a mop...

Any news of a Balrog? I guess the Fell Beast is good enough, but you know, I'm feeling greedy. 8)

The GD.com seems to think a Balrog is coming, but is playing footsy.  I'm going to go out on a limb and say yeah, it's coming.

Update: Now the GD seems to think a Balrog ISN'T coming.  That site has always been a little bit whichever the way the wind was blowing, but earlier today he had to take down news about the Balrog because someone ordered him to.  Huh?

Man, OCB i was just going to paste this on here too!  It's ok, it is a very nice list.  But man am i looking forward to 04", this is the best year for LOTR yet. But we do need another Eowyn i would say in White Outfit at Edoras, and Arwen too.  But oh well i am happy with what is planned so far, i guess all that complaining we did, was good.  And made Toy Biz give us what we want, Naggin does work after all. :o

Holy cow!!!!! :o :o :o

My little black book is in need of a MAJOR update to include all this great stuff!!

If I'm lucky enough to find all this, the 2004 "fun-money" fund is going to be spread pretty thin between all the great SW goodies and this stuff (might have to quit collecting the Simpson line and Barbie line for the kids) :-\

Yeah, lots of super poseable resculpts I plan on nabbing. :)  Great stuff.

The gates of Mordor set sounds neat too.  I just hope that idea continues, as does the idea of resculpting everyone till they're "super poseable" at some point.

Hasbro, you taking some notes here?  You CAN move "specific" posed figures while still cranking out a super articulated version of them.  It's possible and would make us happy!  :)

I'm gonna be broke, I know it...  I'm gonna fall into the LOTR line bigtime with their pricedrop.

Fell beast too?  Good lord, it looks like one of my X-Treme Detail planes is coming down from the celing methinks!

*faints*

 ;D ;D ;D

This will be a day long remembered.  TB nails most of my wishlist in one fell swoop (pun intended!) and finally throws the monkey off its back.  I'm going to be BROKE by the end of this year.
