Just heard from a TRU worker that it is the same as the AOME Weathertop figure, and that it is just going to be in a little white box, kinda like the Burger King - Uruk Hai giveaway!  And he also said, it was not a figure, it was a figurine?

Finally found Faramir. I know this may not be any big deal to those in the US, but this wave isn't even officially released in the UK until the end of May (if at all).

Found the Armored WK wave yesterday at my local TRU (Iowa) to my surprise.  The WK rang up 8.99 as opposed to the others, but I think this is because he's still in the computer from being part of the original first ROTK assortment last year.  Just be sure to double check when purchasing.

On to my thoughts:

Merry in Armor: One of the best figs of the wave.  Great likeness, great sculpt, great articulation, great everything.  Probably my favorite of the group, really.

KOTD: Lots of fun, actually.  Pics do not do him justice.  Lots of articulation, a great sculpt all around, and the GITD thing works gangbusters.

Faramir in Armor: Fantastic likeness, great sculpt and articulation.  Two problems: he has a huge button on his back for an action feature that does not exist, and his arms are oversized.  The arms I can get over, and you can hang his silly helmet on the button.

Armored WK: So big he barely fits on the card.  Great sculpt, one of the best.  His robes restrict a lot of movement offered by his articulation, but all he has to do is stand there and look bad ass, which he does.  He holds the sword and giant mace well and towers over Eowyn.

All in all, probably the best wave of figs in a long time, maybe ever.  Can't wait for more!

Nice score.  I was hoping that these would be available on line at Amazon.com since Trilogy figures are hard to find around here.  I thought Faramir was suppose to have moving arms when you pushed the button?

His right arm moves a bit, but not by much. I would say you get  about 15% of a sword slash when you push the button  :)

I picked up Faramir today. I figured TB would have dropped the action features, since the only one that really worked was Gollum/Smeagol's talking rock. ::)

I picked up all four of the new figs at Toys-R-Us. It was funny Merry, Faramir, King of Dead tang up $5.99 and the Witch King rang up $8.99. Lucky I caught the wrong price. The girl fixed the price to $5.99.
Anyways, this wave of figures is neat. Really like the Glow in the Dark feature for the King.
For those of you looking for me. I am now at www.sandtroopers.com

Found the 4 new guys at TRU tonight...love Merry and Faramir.  And the two Kings...great stuff.  I was thinking about cashing in my chips but these figures are so awesome...I just can't

I may thin the ranks a little though
