I actually managed to find Denethor, prologue Smeagol, Citadel Guard, Gorbag & Frodo this evening.  Very cool figures!  I'm going to have to buy at least a couple more Citadel Guards.

My son picked me up the Citadel Guard at TRU in Ann Arbor, MI yesterday so at least they are starting to hit downstate.  I doubt if I will ever see them come to Walmart in the U.P.  :-\.

Nicklab, how was the paint job on Denethor??  I've been reading some people have passed on him due to the poor quality.

Looks okay to me.  I actually passed on the Frodo for paint issues though.

Ventured southwards again today, and all I got was a Shelob Attack Frodo.

While it's better than a nut check, I just hate the thought that I'm going to have to get the rest of the wave online.

Darby, I didn't find anything else, unless you wanted SP Aragorn and Frodo, which I didn't pick up. I think BBTS has 'em on the cheap right now. $4.99.

Saw the new FOTR Boromir at TRU tonight, left him though, but it also means I missed PJ and Isildur :-\

Isildur is the FOTR figure I REALLY want.  Such a pivotal character in the Prologue, and they've waited to do him until now?!

I don't know if I've seen for sure or not but is Jackson shipping in every case (1 per) or is he a chase?

I thought the PJ figure was shipping in a Fellowship 10-pack.  Am I incorrect?

Cool.  I guess I'll have to hunt for that one.

Most sites are calling it (and selling it as) a chase, but I do believe it's a 1x per case figure.

Amazon didn't have it listed for preorder, so that doesn't make me happy.

That's what I thought, Ben.  Boromir looked nice but it wasn't 1000x better than the first one so I left him.  Legolas I think is just a repack with maybe a new head and so is Gandalf.  Isildur, Transfixed Bilbo and Peter Jackson is all I'll be getting from that Wave

I'm becoming more and more choosy with this line as time goes on and part of that is that my new shelf is almost full of figures.  Even next year doesn't have a lot of stuff I'll be picking up yet

BBTS has the new waves up for preorder, and one of them includes figures I hadn't seen listed before, like a Gondorian Archer and Frodo w/ Book.  Also a new Eowyn and WK.  I wonder if the archer is the Ithilien one or a Minas Tirith one.

I was just re-watching the Trilogy over the past few days, and here's another figure that could stand to be done:  The Numenorean Soldiers from the Prologue!  We've got Prologue figures like the Prologue Elf Warrior, Elrond, Gil Galad, Sauron, Elendil and now Isildur.  The Numenorean soldiers look pretty cool, too.

I was out tonight doing some X-Mas shopping.  Not ONE new LOTR figure.  The TRU I was at had the old packaging gollums actually, and not another figure in the store.

I got some stuff for my bro, but nowhere near what all I wanted.  I was hoping for Shelob for the two of us at least, and maybe some of the army builders he's missing like the last Rohan guy, the Isengard Orc, or Shagrat or something...  But nada on the shelves really.
